D I G • D E E P On the @runkeeper #asicspaceacademy menu for today...progression #run. It was another scary one...10min w/u easy...10min "moderate" (6:50) pace...10min "fast" (6:20) pace...then 5min c/d walk, where I ended up running into a friend and catching up a bit! That part couldn't have worked out any better! As far as how it went...I worked really hard to keep it easy on the easy...control on the moderate...and survive, I mean control, the fast. It was big time challenging. I don't want to say the shorter intervals have been easier, but it definitely helps to have recovery built in. With today being longer segments at those paces and no recovery, I definitely had to tell myself to #digdeep! Overall, it looks like I did what I needed to do, so I guess I'll be happy with that. I only have two more of workouts before the final 5k workout...which is also quite scary!
