I’m back with a completely random question! I know that Eisuke can play the violin, but as an amateure player myself, I’m kinda curious what kind of musician Eisuke is. Does voltage ever elaborate on that? And if not, do you think he’s more of a “naturally talented, looks at it or hears it once and can play it ” type or more of a “perfect technique, needs some time to practice but plays the stars from the sky once he’s mastered the song” type

Because I can really see him as the latter. And I imagine he gets pissed whenever some naturally talented person plays a song with ease and gets praised for it, while he had to actually practice and put effort into it.

Anyways, I’d like to hear what you think!

I actually really thought about this too and I'm glad I'm not the only one who was slightly irked about it (I play piano and know/understand the difficult repertoire that comes with the violin!)

Voltage doesn't elaborate much except that he plays the Violin sonata which is literally over 2 hrs long.. so I wonder which movement he played, because if I remember right it is not mentioned.

I really think that he is more of a novice/played on and off all his life; therefore would not match the skill set of per se Perlman, Hilary Hahn, or like Mutter. But to an untrained ear i think he is probably a phenomenal player. I feel if we went SUPER TECHNICAL he probably is super rusty (mentioned) as it takes hours of practice weekly to maintain skills. But he probably still plays really well, considering Eisuke is pretty much naturally talented at a lot of things. He definitely is the type to mull over technique and repertoire until he perfects it and can probably still play by muscle memory due to the amount of time he probably placed in it. Also, I feel he is the time to play until his fingers calloused over the first time, because he is just so frustrated at how violin is so difficult LOL. But I would say he could prob play paganini or the violin concertos pretty well.

Though I sincerely feel he is slightly tone deaf when he sings, so while he has dedicated his entire life to the boujee lifestyle (hence the musical background) he most likely has a decent skill set but hasn't bothered due to how busy he is as a CEO.

If I had to be me and answer this dumb; I bet anything baba takes his violin and plays meme music while he sits there frustrated at ota dancing to like savage love or the wii channel theme song.

Do you think there is going to be a pre nuptial nightmare for all of the KBTBB characters (except maybe rhion) Because there was soryu and then mamo who both lost their memory. Is there a possibility of eisuke getting that too?

Hi anon!! I definitely think they will follow the same trend - but I’m really hoping MC gets amnesia instead of Eisuke. Just to see his desperation of MC not loving him but ideally having the same memory of him being cold and assholey is great angst we all deserve. I don’t think I can relive S1 Eisuke in his s7. :< It would hurt my heart, but knowing how much Eisuke loves MC who knows the direction it’ll go!

Do you think Voltage Inc would tie in the reisen plot and the wedding for eisuke or make a pre nuptial series for him after unconquerable bride? (Since unconquerable bride was underwhelming and didn’t have any progress with the plot except MC being officially announced as his fiancée)

I actually had a theory in my head that they will, however we probably shouldn’t hold Voltage to such high standards... KBTBB is one of the fortunate games where most of the loose ends are ‘tied up’. But - I think that for the S7 it HAS to be tied into the Reisen plot in order to really make up for a ‘final’. I’m not sure if KBTBB will end S7, but it would make the most sense to utilize the ongoing plot. Soryu had amnesia in his S7 - so if MC/Eisuke gets amnesia, it will work really well with sort of pushing the previous plots. However, sometimes we give Voltage too much credit and honestly it’s a crap shoot at this point!
