When I was small, I was always amazed by Ask Blogs, so why not mimic their format for a bit before we continue with the regular schedule? I'll see if there is any demand/interest, otherwise I'll just go right back to comic strips :]

¿Have you had any partners or casual dates with other people before?

Are they ex-partners? Or just ex-friends?

Let's say, magically, Macaque gets pregnant through magic or something like that. What would they do with the baby? Would they raise it together or separately? Would Macaque even tell Wukong about the baby's existence?

(Warning, talk about mpreg at the bottom of the post, sorta? Even though Mac's intersex to the canon of this blog. Also implied past abusive relationship, not Shadowpeach, but Mac did have someone else that he was with, but not willingly.)

Momo Mun here to answer the first question- They are still in the first, shy, tentative steps on the road to recovery. They haven't yet healed enough to kiss one another or get into a committed relationship. It will take some time for them to get to that point. And it will be determinant on how the blog goes, influenced by asks/arc/etc. Questions/Arcs can either influence them more towards healing, or it can cause them to relapse and take one step forward but two steps back in their relationship.

(Momo Mun: Mac's implication flew over Wukong's head. He didn't get the subtle hint. Don't worry. He didn't just ignore it. It will come up later! If you don't understand, I'll clarify it. Mac said he only ever had one partner willingly. That partner being Wukong. However the way he said it, willingly, implies very subtlety that he's also been with another partner, but not willingly. Which I will say was a bad relationship for Mac. He felt nothing for THEM, he was forced into this relationship. Thankfully he's free of THEM now. This will be a plot point to come back to at a later date and time, though.)

Please don't randomly make one up and just yeet it into the story unless we've given permission!

9. Do not send in character hate/bashing that's intended to actually be serious/true character hate.

10. No God modding/pretending a character did something they didn't/killing a character through an ask unless given permission to do something harmful to a character first. Emotional harm is fine so long as you indicate that it's not true character hate and it's just for drama! Use a monkey 🐒 emoji of any type or banana 🍌 to indicate it's not serious hate and just for the drama.

"I was born from a Sunstone Egg on Flowerfruit Mountain, and King Shàn Jūn, and his wife, Queen Jiā Tíng adopted me! Basically, they had been praying to the Heavens for a LONNNGGGG time for a child, and I fell from the skies a lonnggg time ago in the Sunstone Egg."

"I stayed incubating for a long, long time, but then one day I hatched, and they took one look at how downright adorable I was and decided I was their baby boy! I get along great with my parents! My dad, though retired, helps me with the more diplomatic side of my Kingly duties, and sometimes he will take over as acting King whenever I'm away from the Mountain. He and love to paint together, and we both love to collect things, much to my Ma's annoyance."

"She calls us hoarders, but then she turns around and collects things like seashells, seaglass, pearls, and stuff from the ocean, you should see her and dad's chamber in the Temple! "... Okay. Well, see... Mac's parents- they used to be around. His father Mòxuán Shuò was my dad's right-hand, his general, his warrior. And his mother, Mínyōu was our top healer on the Mountain. They also prayed for a child from the Heavens, and then Macaque's Moonrock Egg washed ashore."

"They were so happy to have a child on the way. I was just a youngling then, only a few years old. I was so excited, because with the arrival of Mac's egg, it would mean I would have a friend like me! See, the Monkeys on Flowerfruit Mountain aren't exactly mystical monkeys, but they aren't regular monkeys either. So, I was the odd monkey out for my first few years of life. So, when Mac's egg came to the Mountain from the ocean, I was excited, Mòxuán and Mínyōu too. But..."

"But before Mac's egg hatched... something bad happened, something I'll NEVER forget. The War between the Magical Clans. Celestials, Demons, Mystics and Mortals alike. Fear spread through the world over magic users who had magical powers like chaos, shadow, necromancy- just any magic that wasn't connected with light, purity, nature, and the like. Mac's father well, he had shadow magic. He wasn't just my dad's warrior. He was also an Emperor, see my dad only ruled ONE half of Flowerfruit Mountain while Mac's dad ruled the other. Mòxuán Shuò was Emperor to a Shadow Clan called the Midnight Lanterns..."

"Several magic users, Celestials, Demons, Mystics and Mortals alike stormed Flowerfruit Mountain, knowing that Mòxuán Shuò and his clan of shadow using monkeys lived there with us. So many Shadow Clans had been wiped out by this point, or banished to realms beyond this one. My father fought so hard and long, trying to get through the battlefield to save Mòxuán and Mínyōu... but..."

"By the time he got there... it was too late. The magical users that attacked Flowerfruit Mountain couldn't kill Mòxuán and his clan was too strong for them. But they could get rid of them through banishment. Mòxuán and Mínyōu... and the rest of the Midnight Lanterns, including Macaque's egg- they were ALL sent to another realm. Some of my father's OWN Troopmates were also caught up in that chaos and were sent there too. The only one that came back from the Shadow Realm... was Macaque, a few years later."

"As for how he was brought back from the Realm that his parents, he and the others were banished to... that's something Macaque hasn't told me. All he says is that it brings back too many bad memories of someone he wants to forget, someone that used and abused him for a few years before he ran away, and somehow made his way back to us. Mac's parents, the other members of the Midnight Lanterns and my father's Troopmates that got caught up in the banishment runes... we haven't seen them since. They're still trapped, somewhere we don't know."

"So, yeah... our parents did know each other. Macaque barely remembers his parents or any of his siblings, since he was taken away from them sometime after he hatched and brought back to this realm. Mac doesn't even know if they're alive or dead, and he doesn't think we'll ever see any of them again."
