I've been intending to update that series for like 2–3 months now, but something (usually my schedule) always gets in the way.
Now that Warriors was here, Sky just wanted to go to sleep, but he knew that would worry the captain even further given that he was already soaked to the bone.
At least he wasn't being held to the expectation of being verbal and/or functional. That was a small relief.
Warriors pulled him close into a warm hug, and buried his face into Sky's hair, gripping him a little too tightly for comfort but not so tightly that it hurt.
Something about that bothered him, but he was far too tired to put the pieces together and fix whatever was wrong. It would have to be a problem for tomorrow.
