The Malfoy Manor is silent, except for the occasional cracking sound of a spell hitting skin, a cry of pain, followed by laughter.
This was supposed to be a recon mission! scout out the manor, and confirm the rumours of Death Eater activity. Instead, James Potter has fallen into the claws of Lucius Malfoy...did they know he was coming?
James Potter: You see, Luci-luv...
As James chuckles again, another hooded figure enters the room and whispers something in Lucius’ ear, before standing in the corner, making sure his face isn’t seen.
A disconnected voice catches the attention of the two Death Eaters as they scout around the room in terror...
Before they can identify the source of the voice, two red bolts are shot from empty space, hitting Lucius and his accomplice, knocking them out cold
With a swish of his wand, James’ shackles are broken. Sirius then snatches James’ wand from Lucius’ cloak pocket.
James: HAH! Piss off Padfoot.
James: I told her not to follow me…
James: You can tell me how you found my cape on the way home...
Lucius Malfoy manages to awake, but lacks the power to stand up. He looks up at the blood traitors, and spits at them, catching the attention of one pissed off James Potter.

Five girls sit in the Gryffindor common room, lounging by the fire, and studying for their upcoming exams. Dorcas sits on the ground under Marlene’s chair, chewing her fingernails as she listened to Marlene talk about the specifics of the war on giants in 1543. Alice sat cross legged on her own arm chair, reading in her potions textbook, memorizing how many times she had to stir polyjuice potion to make it perfect. Mary warms her feet by the fire practicing her transfiguration by changing her textbook into a small rabbit, back to a book, then a ferret, back to a book, then a kitten, and over and over again. And Lily Evans was writing a foot of parchment on unicorns and their various uses in healing.
James: Uh, I was wondering if I could cancel our date tonight?
Dorcas: I know. I hate it.
James: Well, lucky for you Dorcas you’re on the team.

One crisp autumn morning, Harry gets ready for lunch at the Burrow; a weekly occurrence. Trying to tame his hair, though why bother?, he glances through the open bathroom door at Draco, who is lounging on the bed, reading.
The Burrow
15 minutes later
...Me.
At that moment, Molly Weasley saw Harry from across the yard and hurried over.
Ginny perks upon hearing Molly’s exclamation. She shares a look with George, before sending a mischievous glance Draco’s way. Ron shifts his eyes anxiously between his siblings.
Ron: “He can’t be all bad.”
Across the yard, Arthur Weasley is attempting to have a conversation with the son of the man he bodily tackled in Flourish and Blotts.
Arthur: That went well.
Draco: “Oh, uh, I--”
Ginny: “Aw, c’mon, sure you do!”
Draco attempts to escape. Ginny acts quickly, pulling him down into a nearby chair.
‘In more ways than one’, Draco thinks, smirking to himself. He is pulled back to the conversation and out of his less-than-innocent thoughts by the end of Ginny’s little rant.
Draco finally finds Harry, talking with Ron near the entrance of the Burrow. He heaves a sigh of relief and walks up to the pair.
Harry, turning back to Ron: “We’re gonna go now, Ron. Tell your Mum thanks from us?”
Harry: “C’mon, Draco, Apparation Point’s this way.”
Harry turns back to Ron as he leads Draco in front of him out of the Burrow’s yard.
Draco and Harry’s Flat
Harry: “Draco...”
Harry: “She’s just worried after me.”
Harry: “You hold your own. They respect that.”
December
Harry and Draco sit, snug and warm in the cold winter morning. happily unwrapping presents. The had opted for a quiet Christmas Day for their first as a couple, just the two of them.
Draco gathers himself, feigning disgust at the present.
Draco pulls the sweater over his head and looks down at himself wearing it. He looks over into Harry’s lap at the lump of knitting he also received from Mrs. Weasley, a warm feeling settling in his chest.
It’s the usual lunchtime rush at the Leaky. In a quiet corner of the room Billie Weasley is waiting for her sister. Billie’s sipping water, but she looks as though she’d really like something stronger.
The oldest Weasley takes a deep breath, not quite sure how to word what she’s about to say.
Billie is relieved that the secret’s finally out. Charlie however...
A few moments later...
Billie: I know you work really, really hard. But I...needed someone to talk to.
Billie: I’ll tell you, Miss Charlotte. So... Last week I went and visited Fleur in France. She’d asked me to meet her family. So I did and I just… I saw her joke and laugh with her sister and her parents and then she looked at me and…
Billie: A little while later we were sitting in the garden at her parents’ house and it was slowly getting dark. The others had already gone inside, so it was just us two. I asked her to go for a walk with me. She looked a little confused but she said yes.
Billie: I’m pretty sure I wanted to ask her on day one.
Charlie looks quite impressed, then she has an idea...
Billie, completely unsure: You think?
Charlie turns to leave, but Billie needs to know one more thing.

Charlie, aka the best little sister and Dragon Girl Extraordinaire, played by the fantastic Jo @maraudersandlily20 who is lovely, kind and so freaking talented. She was the first one to read the script and her encouragement was essential. <3
Future!Wife and absolute boss lady Fleur played by the sweet, skilled and amazingly brilliant Bella @asklestrange who immediately said yes when I asked if she would want to work on this little project. Don’t tell her because it’s kinda embarrassing but I did think of her when I first had the idea so Fleur’s part was actually written for her. <3

ALSO: French translation in case my acting is so bad you couldn’t guess: “Fleur, would you like to make me the happiest woman in the world and marry me?” But my French is incredibly rusty, so please be kind if you spot any mistakes, okay?))
Bella is one of those people that definitely doesn’t inspire me to want to broadcast to the world through every available outlet that she’s wonderful and beautiful in every way. Pfft nah m8 no way. She’s definitely not one of the most talented people I know, and her characters like don’t make me weak at the knees. Nope, super strong un-buckled knees over here. Also I don’t fantasize about elaborate ways to murder every person who’s ever sent her hate. And I’m definitely not excited for our scene together as Druella and Bellatrix in an upcoming thread. I’m indifferent, really.
Omg don’t even get me started on Bella. She’s good at every single character she’s done. She hasn’t produced a bad cosplay yet, she’s a v precious and smol human who is so frickin kind. I actually get to work with the goddess herself so like, bless my life.
