"Ryuzaki?!" This one was a girl! But... How?!
The brunette eyed over the blonde in front of her, tilting her head curiously. "Hello." She began, not sure how to go about talking to her. "Might I ask yer name, kiddo?"
Rebecca, caught off guard by the sudden attention, jumped a little and turned on her heel, eyes wide behind her glasses, "Who are you calling 'kiddo'? I'm not a kid! And it's Rebecca, who are you?"
The sun was hot against the thief's back. He ignored it and instead pulled his hood down so it covered most of his face. Though Thief King Bakura hated dressing like this, he had no choice if he wanted to elude the guards that were searching for him.
He walked up to a fruit stand, eyeing the dates with a wary expression. He hated going to the market, too. He hated hiding. It was cowardly. But it was necessary. Thief King Bakura handed the merchant a gold piece, and while the other gaped at it, he took the half the barrel, stuffing it in his bag.
He walked along the streets and searched for an alleyway he could duck into. He chomped on a date, and the sweet taste exploded on his tongue. Thief King Bakura turned a corner, nearly colliding with a stranger.
"Watch it!" The fig fell out of his mouth, and he glared at the other. Though, technically, it was his fault.
