ace, sabo and luffy crept behind the bushes as they watched the interactions between you and shanks. usually, luffy wouldn’t mind it because shanks is his friend. but seeing how ace and sabo insist that shanks were going to take you away from them, he followed brothers' plan in saving you.
“hmm, are you sure you don’t want to come with? i’ll miss you,” shanks pouted. his cute pout only made you chuckle. “no, i really can’t. i have to take care of my little devils you know?” you said before pecking his cheek. “so i really can’t convince you?”
you shook your head. “what if i just take you with me right now?” the red-haired male smirked. “i would like to see you try,”
right as the word came out of your mouth, he immediately picks you up and started walking towards his ship. “shanks! put me down!” you let out a shocked laughter. not surprisingly, your three brothers jumped in front of shanks, blocking his way to go any further.
“let go of our sister!” ace yelled, his hand gripping his pipe tightly as he pointed it to shanks. the older male only smirked. “oh? what if i don’t want to?” he gave a teasing smirk. this made luffy to wrapped his arms around shanks' leg, shaking it lightly with his child strength. “please, let her go! we don’t have any other sister!” luffy cried.
sabo only gave shanks a piercing glare.
how dare he even tried to take you away from them?! you’re their sister! no one else can take you from them!
shanks only burst out laughing before he settled you back onto the ground. “babe, your brothers are so funny. i wonder how you handle these little devils,” he said in between his laughter.
you chuckled lightly at their antics. luffy was still stuck to shanks' leg, while he resumes to bawl his eyes out. ace and sabo stood their ground and got shanks in a staring contest. “hey, now,”
“shanks was just kidding,” you chuckled, rubbing luffy’s back to console him. “he wasn’t going to take me anywhere. i promise. right shanks?” your eyes met with his. “maybe,” the older male said playfully. you slapped his thigh harshly to keep him serious. “right, right. i was just kidding,” he chuckled.
it took you a while to get your brothers to calm down. but in the end, they finally calmed down and look at shanks in embarrassment.

a/n this was sitting in my draft for so long. im really sorry for procrastinating :( making sanji the waiter bcs its fun.
“hmm... what do you think? should we take her out to celebrate?” ace asked sabo. the blond thought for a moment. “i mean...” he hesitates. “we should!” luffy suddenly chimed in. “she’s done amazing on her tests! but she probably should have done better than me,” luffy added quietly on the last part.
sabo and ace quickly punched luffy’s head. “as if you’re any better!” ace scolded. “you know better that i did better,” ace suddenly added. and he gets a beating from sabo. “no, the two of you did worse. seriously?! how could you two failed all of the subjects except for p.e class?!” sabo scolded them, crossing his arms together.
suddenly, you barged in through the door, squealing as you held your test results. “i. got. straight. a’s!” you screamed, shoving the paper in front of your brothers’ faces. ace and luffy only watched with their mouth wide open while sabo looked at you proudly.
“we’re taking you out to celebrate,” sabo announced, smiling widely at you.

“can you believe it?! i still have a good laugh thinking about that story!” ace slapped the table while laughing loudly. “i swear the look on luffy's face when grandpa caught him skipping class!”
you and sabo laugh along. “but you got caught too!” luffy quickly added. this makes ace’s face to go red with embarrassment. “and your face was deffinitely funnier!” luffy laughed loudly this time. ace’s laughter already died down the moment luffy mentioned his involvement.
you take a sip of your drink while smiling at your brothers. the waiter finally arrives with your food. “here’s one special drink for a beautiful lady,” the man smiled at you. “oh, you’ve got it wrong. we didn’t order this,” you denied the drink politely.
“is there any other beautiful lady here?” the blond smirked. “it’s on the house,” he added. “sanji? what are you doing here?” luffy asked, tilting his head in confusion. sabo was fuming with anger. he cleared his throat loudly and glared at sanji. “yeah, what are you doing here, sanji?” sabo said in a low, threatening voice.
“i work here, of course!” sanji revealed proudly. “i thought that my attire was obvious enough,” he added quietly. “anyway, i hope you guys enjoy dinner. especially you, beautiful,” sanji said, kissing your hand before taking his leave.
you flinched when sabo suddenly slammed the table. “the audacity of him to be touching our baby sister!” ace and luffy only shrugged and continued eating their meals. “sabo, relax. he was just being nice,” you chuckled. “he was clearly flirting with you!”
this caused your two other brothers to gasp. “he was flirting with y/n?!” they said in union. ensue to your brothers bickering that the four of you got kicked out of the restaurant for being too loud.

the sun was high in the sky. it was the perfect day for a date with your beloved boyfriend. you gave yourself a quick touch up before leaving the house with a huge grin on your face. as usual, he looks at you with the same blank expression.
if it wasn’t for the light pink that tinted his cheeks, you would’ve thought he doesn’t actually love you. “ace, sabo, luffy! i’m going out!” you notified them before closing the door.
“sabo,” ace spoke in a serious tone, giving sabo the ‘look’. the blond nodded as a response while luffy looked at the two of them in confusion. “huh? am i missing something?” he tilted his head.

so when he asked to for you to close your eyes, you were a bit skeptical. he had never done this before throughout the few years the two of you had been dating.
you felt his hand intertwining with yours, enveloping your hand in that familar comforting warmth. “where are you taking me?” you asked quietly. “it won’t be a surprise if i tell you,” law mumbled under his breath.

slowly, you opened your eyes before adjusting to the lights around you. he had taken you to the park where the two of you first met. “is this a special occasion? why did you take me here?” you asked, smiling softly at him.
“i just, feel like it,” he cleared his throat, looking away from you. before you know it, your three brothers suddenly jumped into the open, standing right in front of you. luffy has a big smile painted on his face, ace's expression was as if he was about to cry while sabo...
well, he looked quite angry.
“what are you guys doing here?!” you scolded. “he’s going to take you from us!” ace argued. you looked at them in confusion. “what are you talking about?”
“he’s going to propose to you,” luffy chimed in, his smile stretching even wider. your eyes widened and you quickly looked at law. “i... wasn’t,” the male said in confusion. “then why did you look so nervous?” luffy frowned, now even more confused by law's confession.
“i was... going to ask her to move in with me,” before you could answer to that, sabo had already raced you to it. “no, you’re not going to take her away from us,” he crossed his arms together, looking at law up and down skeptically. “oh, i thought that you were going to be my brother,” luffy frowned. you could hear ace’s sigh of relief beside you.
you put your hand on sabo's arm in hopes to calm him down slightly. “sabo...” you gave him a pointed look. “i’m a grown adult! how long are you going to see me as your baby sister?” you sighed. “i can make my own decision,” you crossed your arms.
“fine,” the blond male sighed, looking away from you with a pout present on his face. you shook your head lightly, chuckling at his childish behavior. you knew that he only worry about you. a little bit too much.
