July Drabble Challenge Day 3: Astound

Eddie wasn’t expecting to be astounded by Buck all the time. Eddie was happy raising Chris. He asked for help when he needed it, and did his best to help Chris blossom. But then Buck came along, and fitted himself into their lives, making Eddie’s emotions stir like he had never expected before. The realization of that, and the outcome of those emotions manifested one night when he watched Buck finish tucking Chris in bed, before Buck turned to grin at Eddie. And yeah, there went Eddie’s heart, beating wildly. How had he not realized he felt this way before?

 I don’t remember if I’ve written Buddie before…LOL. I really need to finish watching this show too >-> @novemberhush will love this though ha ha. Thanks @sonyakitsune for the idea too!
