Branch after being adopted by the Astral Express / Astral Pop Trolls AU :3

He got his colors earlier than canon, though he can still go grey pretty easily, especially if left alone for too long.

Scarlet Gold (Himeko) is his adoptive mother, but it doesn't matter to him and he still refers to her as "Mama". He's a Mama's boy hehe

Welt Yang (Mr. Yang) is his adoptive grandfather, and he gets very fascinated by the tales he tells them about his travels. Branch refers to him as Grandpa Yang

March 7th is his adoptive little sister who absolutely loves pictures and scrapbooking. He's not entirely interested in it, and it reminded him of Princess Poppy whenever she bothered him (he still has that crush on Poppy tho hehe)

Starling (Trailblazer) is his adoptive younger sibling that's reckless. They get into fights easily, especially when Creek comes over to bother Branch, who makes sure they don't cause any trouble.

Sundae (Sunday) is his adoptive twin brother. They're only a few days apart, and Branch likes helping Sundae to be able to fly higher than a few feet from the ground since he lacks practice. Sundae appreciates the help.

Terrae Heng (Dan Heng) is his adoptive big brother, whom Branch is very protective of. Terrae has a lot of suitors growing up, and Branch tends to chase them away, not wanting anyone to take away his big brother, much to Terrae's annoyance, but after he was badly hurt by his last boyfriend… yeah, Branch's instincts are pretty understandable.q

Rhodeia: serene and savage in balanced turn. Listen. Think. On an afternoon with no cares to be had, where will she be?

Our lives are rooted to the soil of what we love. Where do Rhodeia’s roots sink deepest?

Fear is the basest of instincts. It reminds us we are alive—and we have something to lose. What is Rhodeia’s greatest fear?

|What flavor would your OC pick from a box of chocolates?|

Izzrhys could really take or leave most sweets. That said, he does enjoy dark chocolate and would probably go for something dark chocolate and either almonds or peanut butter.

Aesir, on the other hand, has a big sweet tooth and will eat just about anything in the box. Their favorites are probably milk chocolate with either raspberry or caramel fillings.

Xarek I could see going for anything espresso/coffee flavored, or just the little ganache-filled truffles.

Leoryn likes flavors like champagne and amaretto- they have a bit more expensive taste than the others.

Aratris likes coconut-filled chocolates, especially if they've got shredded coconut and not just coconut flavored cream.

If your OC was a companion, would they be in the list of people Orin can kidnap?

No.

A longer answer would be, Miasma is a Durge so I just don’t see it happening. But, if Orin was to try something I just don’t think she’d get the jump on Mas.

Orin gives strong, annoying younger sibling who wants prove how grown up they are and Mas would just “ha, get wrecked nerd.” And knock her arse out. 😌✨

Does your Tav have a pet?

For the longest time, Masrey didn't have a pet. Unless you count the lizard mount from the Underdark, back when he was training to be a soldier for his house. Even on the surface, and for a good few decades after he left Whitepeak he never did, but once he would have started taking levels as a ranger stats-wise and got the ranger's companion, he always had an animal with him, usually in the form of a crow for scouting purposes.

Campfire Chatter: What do they smell like?

Miasma:

Myrrh and Tonka bean.

“A warm, rich, and creamy scent with a blend of sweet and sensual notes. It combines the balsamic aroma of myrrh with the almond and vanilla-like sweetness of tonka bean, creating a captivating and luxurious experience.”

She’d smell so good 👌a smooth, not over powering smoky hint, deep and rich. Even under the grime and blood collected on an excursion, there would still be a faint hint of it. A perfume she perfected a long time ago she’s used it for years. It’s just soaked into her pores at this point, it’s unequivocally Miasma.

Korg

Leather, Clove and Iron

“The scent of cloves is a warm, spicy, and slightly woody aroma with a hint of sweetness and bitterness. It's often described as pungent, peppery, and even metallic, with smoky notes.”

He’s a Berseker, we’d be surprised if he didn’t have an underlining hint of blood in his scent. The strong tang of iron is cut with the smoky, woodsy smell of the leather armour and clothes he wears.

Zek

Mockernut Hickory, Spices, Sea Salt and Amber

“Mockernut hickory leaves, when crushed, are known to emit a spicy, often described as orange-rind-like, odor.”

A life at sea has left a briny imprint to Zek’s scent. Inheriting additional spiced smells to add onto his own naturally spicy mockernut scent, from his travels. The slight amber aroma lingers on his skin, a reminder of his time spent with Luz.

Luscinia

Bergamot, Amber and Peaches

“Amber fragrance is a warm, sweet, and resinous scent, often described as comforting and inviting. It's a fantasy note in perfumery, meaning it's not a single ingredient but a blend of other elements like vanilla, labdanum, benzoin, and sometimes sandalwood and musk.”

It’s a lingering mooth but sweet citrusy scent, from the citrus trees they have grown in their homes small courtyard. Subtle sweet floral hints from their numerous perfumes and hair oils they use and make themselves from their own citrus and peaches trees.

Luz makes their own blends, also using spices that Zek brings them back from his travels, adding their preferred subtle hint of spice.

Faolán

Juniper and spruce

“Juniper has a fresh, woody, and slightly peppery scent, often described as bracing and invigorating.”

He’s spent years running through his home woods where days are willed away in the trees, soaking in the sun and fresh air. Like his sister, the woods are such a part of them they’ve imbedded into his very being. He carries their wood, the scent of home, with them not matter how far he goes.

Fiádh

Patchouli and Spiced Pumpkin

“Patchouli typically smells earthy, woody, and musky, often with sweet and spicy undertones. It can also be described as having a damp earth or slightly medicinal quality.”

Being a Circle of Spores Druid, seems only natural that Fiádh would smell of the Earth and sweet rot. Their woodland home is drenched in the aroma of pumpkin spice from the wild pumpkins she harvests to cook, bake and make delicacy’s.

Whilst her brother sores in the tree tops, she sticks to the ground preferring to stay in the shade of the great trees and tend to the vegetation and fungi that grows in the damp flowering of their home.

✦ Family History: Birth Parents (Unknown): Aureumlux was abandoned before she had even hatched, and doesn't know her birth parents, or if she even has any, as a result. Durrash Vuldenkyl (Guardian, Alive): Durrash found the abandoned newborn Dragonborn while returning home. He took her with him, nursed her back to health, and named her Aureumlux.* He's stern, but caring, and teaches his charge everything that he feels she should know to take care of herself. He is one of the few people that Aureumlux truly trusts. The Paladin Guild: Aureumlux was 'raised' by multiple members of the guild where Durrash works. But they act more as teachers rather than parental figures. Simon Asturias (Boss, Alive): While not really family, Asturias has been the leader of the paladin guild as long as Aureumlux can remember, and became her boss when she was knighted. In secret, he treats her with cruelty, and plays a crucial role in Aureumlux's abduction by mindflayers.**

✦ Voice Claim: Aureumlux has a very quiet, kind, soothing voice. I think she sounds like Fia from Elden Ring.

✧ Reputation / What Others Say: Many describe Aureumlux as being kind and patient, but very shy and quiet. Some even assume her to be cowardly at first. But when they see her in battle or upholding her oath, her companions especially start to see Aureumlux as more courageous and confident.

✦ Beliefs / Personal Code: Aureumlux believes in the Dragonborn ideals of honor, loyalty, and honesty. Which is only amplified by her role as a paladin of the crown. Aureumlux greatly respects the law; it is her job to uphold it, but it's a big responsibility to be judge, jury, and executioner, so Aureumlux takes great care to hear all sides of an argument before making a decision.

✧ Most Prized Possession(s): Aureumlux doesn't have much, but she does have an old cape that Durrash used as her baby blanket. She still has it with her and takes good care of it.

✦ Greatest Fear: Aureumlux has entomophobia and arachnophobia, not a great thing to have when sleeping in the great outdoors. Poor thing nearly fainted at the sight of the giant spiders in the goblin camp. Aureumlux has a lot of trauma surrounding sleep,**** so there are times when she is too scared to fall asleep. She often stays up until she physically can't anymore.

Aureumlux is scared of abandonment; she may not remember the first time that she was, but she is scared that it will happen again.
