It did take some time, but Ursa regretted how she once tried to vicariously live thru Kiyi, and over time she and Kiyi have a better relationship
Even Noren kept reminding Ursa that Kiyi is not responsible to ' relive ' her own youthood

I like the idea that Ambassador Sokka and Fire Lord Zuko not only joke around during meetings and important things, but also say random, offhanded remarks that no one gets but them.
Like Zuko’s about to begin a meeting and Sokka walks in to join, and he just mumbles “Hello, Sokka here” and Zuko, who’s barely been maintaining his composure, losing his mind. And the two of them are laughing themselves to tears while a bunch of advisors and generals sit there, completely lost.
