Aurigny ATR 72-600 G-OATR rotating from Runway 09 at Guernsey Airport on her way to the Isle of Man a few weeks ago operating the first Air Bridge flight of the day. Whilst en-route she was forced to divert into Manchester for a few hours as the Isle of Man didn't open their airport at the agreed time. As Guernsey and the Isle of Man are both closed borders with the UK, passengers had to remain onboard the aircraft for over 2 hours in Manchester before the aircraft was able to continue her journey to Isle of Man. Whilst I am sure everyone in the Isle of Man and Guernsey wishes we did not have to be closed to the outside world, by doing so both islands been able to return to 100% normal life (apart from travel) with no social distancing, no wearing of face masks, and everyone able to return to work in offices and shops and sports including football, rugby and cricket can continue as normal, including sport competitions between both islands. The Isle of Man has had no new cases of Coronavirus for nearly 100 days and Guernsey has managed to have no new cases for 115 days so far. #Aurigny #ATR #ATR72 #ATR76 #AirBridge #Guernsey #GuernseyAirport #GCI #EGJB #IsleOfMan #IOM #EGNS #29Aviation #Aviation #AvGeek #Plane #Pilot #PlanePorn #AviationPhotography #PlaneSpotting #TurboProp #Aviation4U #Airline #Aircraft #Airport #MegaPlane #InstaPlane #InstagramAviation (at Guernsey Airport) https://www.instagram.com/p/CEPgNqWn2ML/?igshid=wogxmp2nogrf
