After moving with his mother to Tokyo for 'work' Yuuji (post being force-fed sukunas finger by his mom) and Megumi meet in middle school and become friends in their mutual delinquency with both thinking the other is a non-sorcerer and keeping their respective knowledge of jujutsu to themselves then Megumi starts to suspect his new friend is being abused at home (he is) and reluctantly asks Gojo what to do and Gojo's nosy ass does a full background check on Yuuji and his family and further investigation eventually leads them to realizing he's sukunas vessel...
