so I got a callback for like four different characters and I need to prep like 6 songs for WEDNESDAY (I’m posting this on the Saturday before), but I’ve been ILL for the past three days and barely been able to speak so my anxiety is at an all time high bruh

This organization wants to change the color of classical music.
Across the nation, African-Americans make up less than two percent of musicians in orchestras while Latinos makes up less than three percent.
“I've had plenty of cases where people have said I won't get very far because of the color of my skin, and because of the stigma behind it” said Nathaniel Taylor, a cello player who’s half African-American and half Filipino.
To help diversify orchestras, the National Alliance for Audition Support supports musicians of color such as Nathaniel by focusing on the all-important audition.
