Question for Violinist's!
I picked up my violin for the first time in (mumbles) today and realised my shoulder rest will need replacing soon (it's more than ten years old and is the only one I've ever had so to be expected - the foam/rubber is starting to degrade)
I currently have the Wolf Forte Secondo Violin Shoulder Rest I will add I do use it 'backwards' to how it shown to be used as I've got a defibrillator implanted and the curves clashed and hurt, I was just wondering if anyone knows if there are better types of shoulder rests to try? that can be purchased and easily returned for a UK based shopper a quick google tells me the choices are about the same as when I got this one but just in case I'd hate to miss out on something new
(I do have a local-ish violin shop so will email them in a couple of days and ask, as I also need new roisin but wanted to ask around first)
