So we love Werewolf Stan could we perhaps get a werewolf Ford? 👀

MMMM, maybe? Sadly, the story I'm writing does not feature Stanford as a werewolf and the fanfic has been my main focus ^^;;

BUT I HAVE pondered Werewolf AUs of Stanford as a werewolf. Just been focused on work and attempting to write that I haven't gotten around to drawing him >>;;

So I currently have three AUS pending of Ford becoming a boof.

1: Stanford is more of a wolfman rather than a full werewolf, still maintaining his human self but giving more into his inhuman impulses and desires. He goes on misadventures to find a cure while accidentally becoming Gravity Fall's more recent cryptid. This one is more for comedy and silliness featuring the creation of the Mystery Trio.

2: Stanford becomes a proper werewolf by accidentally getting nicked by one of the four large incisors of an odd canine skull that he was asked to study by a fellow scientist and researcher. He was told to be careful with it but brushed off the cut as nothing important or significant. After all, he knows how to properly clean and dress the wound. This one is basically the reverse of what happens in my fanfic... Summed up, after realizing and dealing with becoming a werewolf, one full moon night wereboof Stanford catches the scent of something too familiar. Family. Stanley, to be more exact and chases it down. Only to be caught like a deer in the headlights by a speeding red vehicle, the Stanley Mobile.

3: They were always werewolves, from being mere werepups to growing into the beasts we all know. It revolves around Stanford wanting to be more human passing and focusing on pursuing academics. While Stanley is still the free spirit that he is and wants them to see and travel around the world and purposely makes it where he doesn't pass around comfortable company (ears, tail, fangs, and extra). Follows the OG story mostly with a handful of divergence moments up until the Stanford paranoid era. Think of... the anime movie Wolf Children. Somewhat like a mash of those two together :^]

Just picture instead of the bullshit that was everything Rebirth did and how much it fucked up Ted's character and turned Dan into less than an afterthought:

(Using the Palmera City is also Hub City and somewhere in Texas not terribly far from El Paso for setting)

The Covenant of Ka (retconned to be a cult of assassins, mystics, and warriors that formed around the Blue Beetle that held the title before Kha-Ef-Re) tries to steal the Scarab from retired superhero Ted Kord and kidnaps him to perform a magic ritual to break his bond with Khaji Da as its host since he refuses to use it due to previous 'murderous alien parasite tried to make him and his mentor who it revived from the dead fight to the death over the title of Blue Beetle'.

Let's say they use the (considered inferior due to being made by Kha-Ef-Re, the Blue Beetle that no one liked and who broke the passing down of the true blue Scarab for 3000 yrs, who used impressive by Earth standards magic and non-consensual cloning of a chunk of Khaji Da) as part of the ritual to un-Blue Beetle Ted by forcing him to bond with the inferior Scarab via brainwashing/mind control.

(in this the Red Scarab not having a copy of Kha-Ef-Re's personality in it, is its own very very young and inexperienced but murderous, ruthless, and hedonistic personality)

Retired chubby ex-superhero turned full time CEO and researcher Ted Kord isn't a push over mind you, and puts up a good fight against Scarab. Which leads to Khaji Da being lost somewhere in Texas due to falling out of both fighters' hands during the battle. Ted does end up kidnapped. And the ritual happens to break his bond with Khaji Da as the Covenant of Ka can track down the blue Scarab's unique energy signature later.

Due to the ritual and mindcontrol, Ted Kord is overpowered by the consciousness of the red Scarab and becomes Blood Beetle. Who is then sent to retrieve the blue Scarab so the Covenant of Ka can appoint a new willing Blue Beetle.

(B/c we love face-monster turns in this house. And let's throw a dark mirror at Jaime.)

Meanwhile, Jaime finds a neat blue bug-shaped rock while walking to school with his friends one day. That fuses itself to his spine when he sleeps that night and starts giving him superpowers. And gets him mixed up with the local superpowered street gang (The Posse) and the local magic artifact-collecting crime lord (La Dama).

Meanwhile, Vic Sage/The Question starts investigating the disappearance of his friend after getting contacted by Ted's wife/confidant/assistant/copilot Traceywho's running the company in Ted's absence. Apparently, Vic can sense chi and tracks what he thinks is Ted's chi signature after examining the scenes of the fight and finds Jaime a very new meta in over his head and dealing with a lot. (The chi signature that Vic thought was Ted's was actually Khaji Da's)

The Question becomes Jaime's off-and-on mentor as he continues his search for Ted Kord.

Jaime dealing with having a Zen Buddhist, weird conspiracy theorist, faceless, somewhat able to do magic but prefers martial arts, street level detective politically focused superhero attempting to help him with magical shit, alien shit, assassins, and another bigger badder fucker in an alien magi-tech bug suit all out to get the kid. Both coaching him in how to superhero better, learn how to fight without the bug suit, and pointing him at places to try and help get the Scarab out of him and/or showing him how to help people outside of heroing if he really doesn't want to be a superhero.

I think it is very important that Jaime is presented repeatedly with options to not be a superhero if he doesn't want to be. Like shown superpowered folks who choose to live as normal people (like Mr. Calhoun and my version of Tracey who is magic b/c I think it'd be neat and also funny to have two magic Traci/Tracey's running around)

And so and so, several adventures. Eventually, folks figure out that Blood Beetle is Ted and rescue him. And congrats Jaime you have two mentors now. Tho Ted is more cynical about Khaji Da being very fucking dangerous given past experiences and the murder puppy red clone of Khaji still stuck in him just suppressed. On the plus side, Ted is more straightforward mentor and around more and a bit more personable. (Also Ted Kord's tendency to take care of people he cares about. Like that man has got the Reye's family's back financially for life.)

Okay so... Since I've wrapped close "where do we go from here" for the rumrollins week, and I realized that deadlines really make me write (filled with a good amount of anxiety for various reasons, in top being not that good), it is now time to make a little list of fics I'm planning, planned out, or jumping plot bunnies. Let's see if one of them gets the spark to be written. Of course I'm taking prompts.

For sure I have more AUs around but those are the one I can think of at the time. I'll probably update the list. There's the angst bingo card too, prompts can fit the AUs or other ideas...

- winter soldier!Clint. Which is how I mostly portray my Clint in fics, even those where he's not supposed to be. Quite long, slow burn winterhawk, jumping between the time Clint was hydra's precious hawk and the present as shield agent and avenger. Higher level than what he actually is portrayed as, because he's been around longer, and fury trust him enough. Adopted some random assassins along the way and trains strike team. Plenty of things to write in this au, spanning through many years. (and with a side of hydra husbands because yes.)

- madripoorian fighter. Smaller au, focus on hydra husbands, possibly winterbones, or as poly. PIerce took his best agent Jack rollins to Madripoor to buy what people said it was the best fighter, training Brock to their cause and to be a leader. What he finds at first is indeed a good soldier but also a very compliant slave Throwing the winter soldier in the middle when Brock is known as commander rumlow and have them bond over experiences of fights.

- how icarus fell (in love with the sun). Hydra husbands, again, supernatural au where Brock is a child of the sun, touch scorching, scared of harming those he cares about, and Jack has wings who normally appear like a huge tattoo on his back. Basically a soulmate au with a side of supernatural.

- star trek au. Hydra husbands and winterhawk on a spaceship. Kinda au of the winter soldier Clint, but I like that Clint so. Mildly inspired by the new films, and by the botany bay crew, admiral pierce defrosted the strike alpha crew, starting from their commander, and used them as leverage to have rumlow under his thumb. Lt. Commander barton is later "saved" by the Avengers crew, but still likes the old one better.

- dream Walker. Ever since a kid, Brock stepped into dreams when falling asleep and he's chased down by monsters white as snow and without faces. Ever since a kid, Jack had his father train him to step into dreams with a rifle and chase away the faceless terrors. Before meeting Jack never saw someone like Brock being chased by so many terrors at once.

- the Sentinel AU. Chaotic and loud cmander rumlow is a guide, that was the reason Pierce had wanted him in STRIKE, to keep the Asset in check. But while the asset listened and trusted him, the bond never sparked really. Jack rollins, quiet and deadly, is a Sentinel, that's why Fury dropped him one day on Clint barton, who already had Natasha romanoff on hands and was starting to understand on his skin what sensory overload felt for Sentinels. So he went to Rumlow and told him to help him with the new recruit. It took 2 missions before rumlow and rollins were inseparable, never straying too far from each other, rumlow always able to guide him out of overload. "it's basically soulmate bonds, between a sentinel and his designed guide.", Clint explains to Natasha, and they too look like soulmate. Then one day the winter soldier steps in between them and the overwhelming feeling jack gave him with his extra presence is not there at all.

A star wars x LoK(S1) AU: I know this sounds weird but it’s been on my mind for months. I know I can somehow make it work (I even have written the first chapter and outlined some of the story). It’s very ambitious but I hope I can show it to someone someday.

Princess Mononoke AU: Stark = wolfs, what else do you need? I have a vague idea of what I’d like the story to be, but it could be interesting. I thought of Petyr being a journalist that goes up north because they say the forest is dying and somehow ends up meeting a very wild Sansa riding a huge direwolf.

Little Mermaid AU: I’ve been teasing you with this for years now, and despite I got to write some of it, I never got immersed in the story to finally work on it. So it’s still in my to do list.

Christmas Carol AU x ‘the truth untold’ (sort of): in which Petyr is like a Mr Scrooge who finds out someone is stealing roses from his garden. He finds out is Sansa, who is on the run from the Lannisters and sells the flowers to survive on the streets.

No but, bear with me...What about those old, cheesy, hollywood movies as an AU ? Nice, isn’t it ? NOW WHAT ABOUT THAT WHOLE GOLDEN AGE OF HOLLYWOOD / STUDIO-SYSTEM-ERA AU ? Feel free to change pronoums as needed to fit. Imagine : - Person A is a script-supervisor or direcor’s assistant and Person B is a famous director, but B can’t live without A’s help because B is the artsy-lightheaded-kind-of-director. Or worse : B is pretty difficult to work with and thus, A is here to mellow things and B don’t want to admit he/she couldn’t live without A. - Person A is an adorable but clumsy backdrop dancer and Person B is a famous choregrapher, à la Busby-Berkeley-kind-of-choregraphy. A is so clumsy it’s charming. B is annoyed but doesn’t have a choice as you need a lot of dancers in those choregraphies. - Person A is a synchronized swimmer in a Esther-Williams-kind-of-film and person B is a technician. Or an assistant. But is scared of large bodies of water. - Person A is a shy costume-designer or make-up artist and person B is the - flirty -star of the film. - Person A is a costume designer or milliner and Person B is a Carmen-Miranda-kind-of-actor/actress. They began joking at how many crap thay can add on a dress or hat, to annoy the director. - Person A is the new personnal assistant of person B, the studio’s star and capricious as a 4 yo child. - Person A is an aspiring journalist who’s forced to cover the gossips and Person B is the movie-star trying to preserve their personnal life. - “I know I can have whatever I want as I’m the lead actor/actress but the stew they serve at the canteen smells a lot like the one my grandma did and woah the cook is cute.” - Person A is reluctanly figuring in movies to pay for theater lessons and Person B is the lead-actor who like to tease A about their love for the classics. (Singin’ In the Rain inspired, I confess) - Person A is a “fixer”, keeping the scandalous behavior of its stars out of the press. Person B is a journalist dying for a scoop. - Person A is a “fixer” and Person B a scandal-prone star. - Person A is playing in comedies/western/musicals and has to work with Person B, either an actor/actress or a director of more “intellectual” movies. B has to teach stuff (proper english, dramatical acting,....) to A. It doesn’t go well. (Hail, Caesar ! and Breakfast at Tiffany’s -inspired) - Person A is a scenarist, Person B is a director who loves to re-write the script in a whim for no reasons. A is more than angry at such behavior. - Person A is a machinist, helping the dancers on the moving plateforms. person B is a dancer who’s scared of heights.

Lifeguard Au

(Let’s write about what I know once again)

I’ve been trying to get this kid attention for the last few minutes, but they’re ignoring me, I know you’re not suppose to, but can you help me? AU

Variant: I’ve been trying to get your attention for the last few minutes, but you’re ignoring me (that’s really rude don’t you know that I’m the one in position of power here?!?) and at the beginning it was for something really stupid like telling you I like your hair or that you are really cute, but now, my pride won’t let me stop trying, so just look my way good damn it!! It is my first day as a lifeguard and someone had a small accident, they are alright now, but I’m just freaking out in the corner and you’re trying to calm me down AU

You’re a lifeguard and I’ve nicknamed you ‘’Don’t run!!’’ because that seems like the only thing you’re able to say, so it is really awkward when I recognized outside of the pool and tried to have your attention AU

There’s a really rude person not respecting the rules and I’m the lifeguard trying to kick them out, but I hate getting in conflict, so you decided to come and save me AU

Variant: You’re the rude user of the pool and you’re pushing me around, but I just let you because I find you really attractive AU

You’re one of our usual user of the pool and I know you don’t swim that well, but you’re only drowning and always drowning when you are under my watch and I’m starting to think you’re doing that on purpose AU

(Outside pool scenario) It is storming outside and you came to the pool, but obviously I can’t let you in the water until the weather calm down, but the other lifeguard are playing poker and I suck at this game, you’re any good? AU

You bring your younger sibling everyday to play in the children pool and I’m usually the one lifeguard on duty there, so we end up talking a lot and getting to know each other slowly, would it be ok if we had a date not surrounded by screaming children for once?
