I did go and play magic the gathering with my friends today for the first time in like 3 months though!!! that is a win. tmrw I’m helping my friend w their thesis film at the zoo so thats also exciting!!! anyways you can do it I’m strong ur strong we are all so cool I mean it. also listen to the mountain by gorillaz. love u!
Today was mostly the result of me being sleep deprived. I was just sooo sleepy the whole day.
🪐 went to my Microeconomics lecture
🪐 went to the library
Honestly, the desire to wear cute autumnal outfits is the only thing getting me out of my bed and carrying me through the day these days.
🪐 finished my notes for microeconomics ch. 2
🪐 finished my notes for calculus ch.1.2
🪐 finished my notes for calculus ch.1.3
So, this week will be spent catching up on my last week's material and all the homework. It's a lot but I'll manage. I'm really excited about my micro notes though. I'm going to print them out tomorrow. They'll be very useful.
I've missed two days of my Italian lesson on Duolingo though :(
Breathe in and out. Don't lose track of the big picture.
I am back. (I say that like I was a very established individual here)
I have GREAT NEWS!! after 4 months of being off of adhd medication that Works I have remembered what being productive feels like. it is great. unfortunately I now have to lock in consistently since it is the end of the semester. Fortunately I only have three classes this semester because I withdrew from one of them and was going to fail, Unfortunately. maybe I will go over that fiasco in another post.
what am I doing currently?? well. I managed to get four different things I was procrastinating on done in an hour. I then got distracted because I was hungry and am now eating an incredibly mid and possibly burnt peanut butter and banana toast. it is almost 3pm. I did eat earlier but I think I didn't clean my tupperware properly because when I opened it it smelled Funky and then my rice was crunchy. so. no. absolutely not. I am also panicking because I sent an email asking about a job three (3) hours ago and they have not replied, so obviously they are planning to blast me with lasers.
I will now be continuing to work on a spanish essay that I procrastinated on and then I will get to work on the FUN CLASS RELATED TO MY DEGREE........ I am writing about [dangerously niche topic] for my archaeology class. I have all my notes I just gotta put them into sentences. I'm very excited to work on that. I have no idea where I will be working because my favorite study spot is under renovation :'( and the other good lock in space I found has horrible internet and I need to do research. so. I don't know. I GUESS I'll have to go to the library even though it's always way too crowded on a monday afternoon. sighs...........
okay goodbye it's lock in time. places my aesthetic little study emojis to blend in seamlessly into the studyblr. I'm so studious.
hello there ! i’m a first-year uni student (in the uk if that wasn’t clear) trying to figure out how to cope with a demanding course at a top university while juggling everything that comes with being autistic & adapting to a completely new place. this blog will be a lot of documenting that journey, collecting study advice, and posting about my work. the occasional autism meme might slip in.
some general facts about me:
you can call me K, she/her :)
i’m diagnosed ASD Level 1, have been since i was 14
main special interest is star wars, i’m sure that’ll come up at some point
i’m starting a course called PPE at the university of oxford !
super down to chat if anyone is willing to approach the bars of my cell (i don’t bite. it’s for my safety more than yours)
hiya, making a notion/studyblr sideblog in the hopes that this will unlock more motivation for school 👍
hello i'm nico (he/him), 20yr old gay trans guy
third-year college student studying public policy + disability studies
sexy neurodivergent: autism. adhd. anxiety. apd. etc.
I've been using notion for more than 3 years now and it has turned into my main special interest
will be posting about my personal notion, the notion I manage for my neurodiversity school club, general notion stuff, and study stuff (with yapping throughout or whatever else I wanna talk about)
will like/follow from my main blog, @autistic-twink
not going to try hard to make stuff aesthetic. in my own opinion and experience, it's just a waste of time cause I'll get bored of it within the month lmao
terfs, nazis, zionists, bigots, exclusionists, etc. DNI. thanks!
more under the cut about my tags, stuff about my different notions, etc.
tag list:
#nico's notion - when i'm talking about my own personal notion that I use for everything outside of club stuff
#nico's club notion - when I'm talking about the notion that I built/manage for the neurodivergent club at my university
#nico's spin - when I'm talking about general notion stuff like new features, issues, tutorials, etc.
#nico's studying - when I'm talking about my own studying for stuff or studying tips
#nico's yapping - stuff that does not fall into the above categories or just because I feel like it
#nico's notion reblogs - may reblog cool notion dashboards, tips, tutorials, etc
i will probably make a separate post on my club notion hub, because it is the loml. i started it in spring 2024 and in total estimate that I've spent ~40-45 hours on it (and I still continuously work on it). I do not exaggerate when I say that it is my special interest :)
i've changed my personal notion dashboard soooo many times now as I have gotten more comfortable with notion over the years, and I'm currently in the middle of finding something that works for me, so I'll be posting about that. I've got a few systems down so far (task databases + notion calendar ftw) but still working on it.
if you've read this far- congratulations. gold star (you should follow me, I want other nd mutuals)
I was wondering if it would be helpful for anyone if I posted some in-depth notes? I'd explain the topic like it's a lesson, as this is helpful for my own revision and might help other people understand it
It'd mostly be for biology and chemistry, probably, as that's super fact-recollection based. Idk, I see a lot of aesthetic studyblr blogs and I've never seen anyone actually post explanations of subjects or original material here, links to resources being the closest thing
You could also send in requests as long as it's clear with everyone that I'm not a teacher, just a teenager on the internet, I have no qualifications. also I'll be using online resources, textbooks and stuff to find the information - if everyone responds to this with yeah no why would you do that, that's a horrible idea, then I'll probably post some other studying-related stuff here anyway, even if studyblr is kind of...deceased lol I think it'll help me with my own revision
ok uh. like/rb or something if you think that'd be helpful thx bye
