The statistics are that a very high percentage of lesbians *have experienced abuse in relationships*. a LOT of that abuse comes from lesbians who were abused in relationships with men, either before realizing they were a lesbian or through ending up in a straight relationship for "protection". (There's also the fact that lots of abusers have multiple victims, so like. x percentage of lesbians have been abused doesn't necessitate that x lesbians are abusive even only looking at lesbian relationships)

So what you mean is that those statistics are usually very high because it’s also counting the abuse lesbians have suffered when they were in relationships with men? So people using those statistics are even more shitty than I thought they were…

something like that yea most of the "right" ones are just ones i personally would choose, otherwise i assigned them somewhat randomly. in each question there is only one answer that actually gives you a point toward escaping tho, there is an actual path you have to take through the quiz to escape

Zelda is such a broad topic but as like an umbrella thing I wish they'd handle the Gerudo bwtter; BotW saw some improvements but their clothing design is still very orientalist. In terms of worldbuilding it's also problematic that Ganon is dark-skinned while Link and Zelda are blonde-hair/blue-eyed, so fleshing the Gerudo and Ganon out as people is really important, but usually the games only have shallow explorations of Ganon's motives.

My other controversial opinion is I hope the timeline stays a vague mess, I think it's hilarious and also super interesting to interpret it like an intentional puzzle with intricate lore even when the creators openly have no fucking clue what's going on there.

Hey! do you know where to find a reading order list for the good non-fulop parts of idw transformers (mtmte, lost light, et al)?

i assume you mean furman haha

i did have a reading order for mtmte a while back, but unfortunately i don't have a more comprehensive one for everything else that tells you what the bad stuff to skip is. and furman's early miniseries (infiltration, escalation, etc.) are both pretty decent and the foundation that a lot of future stories build upon

yeah, sorry. wish i could help more but it's just a lot to sort through. if you really just wanna read mtmte you can always just read that series following its own reading order and then check out its contemporaries afterwards

if you do find a full reading order, at the very least i'd say you can skip: spotlight arcee, hearts of steel, the bumblebee miniseries, the avengers crossover, infestation, and honestly anything written by chris metzen (autocracy, monstrosity, and primacy). there's more in the first few years that i personally found boring but it's harder to say what to skip off the top of my head when a lot of that comes up again later
