So I haven't been on any HS meds since June and I'm surprise that I'm not worst. This time last year my HS was out of control and the pain was horrible. Now I do have pain and my HS is getting bad but it's not happening as fast like last year. I'm waiting to hear from the nurse about Remicade. I guess the Entapenem slowed the disease down. It's been 2 in a half years since I've been medicine free.

When I started reading Proust, I had no idea how Relevant To My Interests it would really be. I fell in love with Swann and Odette when I was feeling like Swann and Odette, not knowing that by the time I started feeling like Albertine, Albertine would pop into the book. I didn't know I had celiac disease when I started reading this, in Paris. I never dreamed that I would fall in love with Proust all over again, for so many reasons, including the fact that he writes the Literature of the Auto-Immune Disorder so well. 

Also, Proust was not a physicist.

Britt gives herself a swift kick in the ass and takes her own advice.

After over two years of not working, well… not being paid to work except for the odd job here and there, I found my bank account low and my savings at zero.  All the while a teetering stack of medical bills is screaming, “Pay me!” from across the room.

I’d been drowning out their screams with denial and self-loathing for months.  I avoided mail with return addresses featuring words like “financial”, and deleted voicemails from anyone reading off a corporate script asking me to call them back. It was a good enough plan… for a while.
