So what's the bets Loki stealing the teseract is linked to his Disney TV series? They wouldn't show him doing that just for a little joke or just to get them back further. It would work so well with the theme of him travelling the galaxy. Steve fixed the time stone being back in the 40s but did he fix it being stollen in 2012? Even if they did it could be an alternative timeline. Just my thoughts

I’m too impatient to be waiting three more months for Avengers Endgame you guys I’m losing my mind. There are characters listed in the Avengers Endgame IMDB as like “70′s car girl #1” and “1970s lab scientist” or something and I’m like.... time travel confirmed?? Howard Stark is reportedly in this movie?? The Ancient One and Brock Rumlow are coming back?? Katherine Langford dyed her hair red and is I guess playing someone named “Ginger”?? Emma Fuhrmann doesn’t have a character name but is rumored to be playing an older Cassie Lang?? There’s a rumor any scenes from the trailer/future trailers are mostly only from the first 20 minutes of the movie?? A three to five year time jump rumor I just--

The part I’m referring to starts at 16:33 and the video should start at that point automatically ... in theory. Back when Seb was at the Fandemic Sebcon, someone asked him about his upcoming projects and he said he had three to do during August through December. If you watch the clip, he’s talking about Monday and No No No Yes and a mysterious third one. Sounds like he almost slipped up ... possibly reshoots ... for the movie he’s not in??  They were doing Avengers reshoots in October around the time he came back from Greece. They were also shooting Spider-Man: Far From Home in NYC at the same time, but I know that’s totally far-fetched (but I do want to be on record as mentioning it, just in case ... lol).

Out of all the possible titles for Avengers, “The Last Avenger” is my favorite. Why? Because imagine when the title comes up and it says “The Avengers” and the ‘s’ slowly fades away and the word “Last” appears. 10/10 would break my heart.

The Bait and Switch Theory

Here I shall be discussing my bait and switch theory, which I sincerely hope does not come to pass. Elements of it, yes! Please! But other elements, no – gosh, please no.

FInal warning - SPOILERS AHEAD.

So ok, we’ve got The List of folks who didn’t make it through to the end of the film. But obviously not all those deaths are going to stick, what with a few little things like major sequels coming up that currently don’t have leads, because the leads are dead.

They can’t have a Spiderman sequel without Peter P, and they can’t have a Black Panther sequel without T’Challa, and currently the only Guardian who hasn’t kicked the bucket is Rocket (and Nebula, but I doubt she counts herself as a Guardian), so there’s no sequel there unless some folks make a grand return. There’s no confirmation yet on Dr Strange 2, but I’d be surprised if they left his story where it’s currently at.

And with the exception of Gamora, all these people were killed with the Cosmic Click. So therefore, if they’re going to bring all them back, the easiest way would be to reverse the finger click of doom. Which means that others, who don’t have sequel insurance (here’s lookin at you my beloved Bucky who’s last word will haunt me for eternity, and also Sam, who died alone, and also Wanda who looked like she wanted to go, and also all those others like Fury and Hill) will be brought back as well.

I like this part of the theory.

But.

I am slightly worried that they’re gonna pull a bait and switch.

As in – by the end of IW2, all those who were killed by the bait and switch will have been brought back, but… all those who were left alive after the Cosmic Click will be dead in their place. I don’t think it will be a “trade places” kind of thing (though I have exactly zero doubts that Tony, Steve and Okoye would trade places in an instant for Peter, Bucky/Sam, and T’Challa), because if they’re going to trade everyone who died for all those alive then that’s just trading in civilian lives, and that’s not the kind of thing any of the Avengers will go for. Sacrificing themselves, sure. Sacrificing others? Not a damn chance.

So I don’t think it will be a “trade us for them” kind of situation – not when it includes others beyond themselves.

I think it’ll be a studio thing. A “one by one, make them feel each individual death” thing. I think we’ll have a brief period of time when everyone is back and alive (and hopefully together, cause if we don’t get a grand shot of them all together at one stage then I will throw something) and then they’ll start felling them, one by one. All those who were safe at the end of IW1.  

Which means that everyone who is currently safe – Tony, Steve, Rhodey, Nat, Bruce, Thor, Okoye, and Rocket, for instance – are quite possibly the ones who aren’t going to make it out of Part 2 alive.

Remember back when we were all so worried about Clint that we forgot to worry about the new kid, and when Pietro died, most of us had not, in fact, seen that coming? Well this is kind of the same – we’re all so busy being upset over those we’ve lost, temporary or otherwise (geez I don’t know how they’ll swing it but PLEASE make Gamora and Loki’s deaths temporary) that we don’t stop to think about the still-looming fate of all those who are still alive; those who the franchise has finished the stories of. Those the franchise doesn’t need anymore.

So that’s my theory. They’re pulling a bait and switch on us – a Clint and Pietro. All those who were dusted will be returned, but all those who weren’t dusted?? They’re on the line here.

What if Tony survives being in space and returns back to Earth only to find out that Pepper didnt survive the snap. I dont think my heart could take that...
