Hey! I just started following your blog and have a question: since 3 months I'm the proud owner of a lovebird. I never had a lovebird before though I had a few budgies. My ask: if possible, about showing your cage setup for your lovebird? At the moment we're still getting used to each other, and about to start training (getting used to hands and such) and switching him to a healthier diet (pellets, fruit and greens). I just want to make sure I'm doing the right thing. Love your blog btw! :)

Hey first off sorry about the dirty cage.

Lou has avies old cage so its extra large for him which isn't a bad thing.

I have 4 bowls. 1 with pellets, 1 with veg/fruits, 2 water bowls 1 for bathing 1 for drinking.

All the perches are levelled for ease of movement, not too crowded try not to place too many perches or toys under a top perch to avoid soiling. Top corner platform at a height for sleeping/feeling safe.

And ofcourse toys for viewing points and enrichment!
