Trouvaille Demo Launch! 23 Feb. 2022
The Trouvaille demo is finally here!
~
Finally, after hours of hours of procrastinating on my assignments and learning how to code - finding myself in a constant losing battle with choicescript - I have a semi-working demo!
It's super broken with a million and one spelling errors and I'm still learning how I want to do stats, but the game is playable. I just wanted to introduce you lovely people to my writing style, the Curator, Jackie, and the Trouvaille universe.
In this initial launch, you can expect:
An introduction to Sacramento as it appears in the Trouvaille universe
Meet Pablo the Cat
Meet Jackie the Human
Flirt with Jackie the Human
Be late for work
In the next update, you can expect (date TBD):
Create your Curator!
Less typos! (Probably)
See Trouvaille for the first time
Meet Theo
And more!
I really hope you like it and thank you 800 followers! I appreciate all the love and support I've recieved from the IF community. Now, without further ado, the link: https://dashingdon.com/go/10701
trouvaille-if is now lachesis-games!
Greetings, loved ones!
You may be wondering, "Aya, why is your blog so fugly right now?" That, my dear reader, is because I've been overhauling it - changing colors, adding different images - because as some of you may have seen, this blog isn't just for "Trouvaille" any more! I've introduced a new game, "Hell or High Water" that I'm very proud of.
Thank you for all your support and I'll be reintroducing my content with the blog overhaul, so please stay tuned.
Psst, y'll wanna see male TV in artbreeder? Here ya go:
The proper Mediterranean features have escaped me but ya girl Aya did her best.
Yesterday, I logged into my old Google account and read some of my old writing, some from as recent as three years ago, some as old as seven.
It was bad. Real bad. It felt like my eyes were bleeding.
But if my bad work from back then didn't exist, then none of my good work would exist today.
You have to be indescribably bad before you get to be decent.
So when you're too scared to run with an idea because you're worried it's bad or you can't do your own idea justice, just know that all progress is good progress. That's all.
Not Trouvaille related, but I just came across The Abyssal by the wonderful and talented @theabyssal-cog [link] and just had to make an OC for it!
Meet Yomi! Goddess of Death and Darkness and Sol enthusiast I generally like to lean towards more human-looking characters, even in games like this, but I love the idea of Death looking real unsettling under the veil and your very handsome husband-to-be who's the pantheon's Golden Boy sees your Eldritch ass and is still like 👀👀👀 "AWOOOOOOOOGA P L E A S E SIT ON MY FACE"
Ahem, please ignore me. Anywhooooo, go play The Abyssal [link]! You'll simp and cry at the same time, I promise!
