they wake up in a locked room and Kevin does a lot of tossing his weight around, bumps into Aaron, and ends up on his back squirming and Aaron is finally like “fucking S T O P and help me try to figure out how to-”

and then Kevin sits up and yanks both their blind folds off and Aaron is like “fuck, how’d you get out of your handcuffs ????” and Kevin just smirks and shushes him and get’s to work freeing his hands too, and then get’s the door unlocked

and hey guess what lock picking is a kink that Aaron didnt know he had woops

Aaron is getting ready to walk out but Kevin is like “we can’t just rush out there, unarmed?? let’s think for a minute,” and he starts looking around the room

When he looks back at Aaron, the boy has a gun in his hand and Kevin is like ?? “where were you keeping that???” and Aaron just goes “Don’t worry about it” and opens the door

pls think about someone shooting at kevin while aaron is standing right next to him and Kevin is like “Minyard, duck!” but Aaron doesn’t duck in time but it’s fine because the they were aiming high for Kevin and the bullet just goes right over Aaron’s head and he shrugs and keeps going

While resting beside him, eyes half closed and a smile on her beak in drowsy contentment, Goldie's quiet humming began to form words, "Quand il me prend dans ses bras, il me parle tout bas, je vois la vie en roooseee--" Slender fingers run through his hair and whiskers as softly as the sound of her voice, "Il me dit des mots d’amour, des mots de tous les jourset ça me fait quelque choooseee...~"

Scrooge had shot straight up in bed after his nightmare brought him to a short end. He breathed heavily, hand clutching the spot over his chest where a sword had run through it not too long ago. He hated that injuries could still hurt even though they happened in the past, so much so that they could work their way into his dreams and make him feel as if he were back in the agonizing moment.

Scrooge wiped the sweat and tears from his face as Goldie rustled beside him. He didn’t think he would go back to sleep (he never could), and offered to leave, but she insisted differently. Resting his head back on the pillow, Scrooge tried to calm his quickly beating heart by taking on a deep breath.

As soon as Goldie began to sing, Scrooge instantly felt more at peace. He moved closer to her, resting his head against her chest and wrapping his arms around her. Hearing her calm voice and feeling her hands soothed him, and Scrooge wishes he could’ve had this in the past ten years. Though, he can’t do much about past mistakes or injuries, and decides to be content with the present. So his eyes droop close, and for once in a long time, Scrooge falls back asleep.
