Backhanded compliments like this are poor taste. Don’t.

Keep that to yourself, or your friends, and preferably out of tags. It makes you look insecure at best and unpleasant to be around at worst.

I dress however I want to and nobody comments about it. I haven't heard a single reference to my clothing choices since coming out. Yeah, I look like a typical Office Joe. But the point is, after 20+ years of backhanded compliments, "you would look so good in __ let me dress you up", and "don't wear that guys will stare", that NO ONE CARES. That's how it should have been from the beginning.
