Mix them with a bunch of old school themed accessories I've hoarded over the years, and you've got a fun centerpiece for a back to school dinner. Old style country steak and mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, mixed fruit, and Rice krispies treats are on the menu for this dinner. I'm going #oldschool on you today because our teachers start back to school tomorrow, and the students start back next week. (Yes, it is waaay too early, and summer still has her hot and humid grip on us.) My favorite school lunch was always the Thanksgiving one with turkey and dressing. It came with a teeny tiny cup of that congealed cranberry sauce... the kind that slides out of the can whole and wiggles on the plate. I also loved the fresh rolls. We could smell them baking when we were at recess.
