Ingredients: 4 chicken breasts. Salt and pepper to taste. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 4 slices bacon, diced. 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar. 2 tablespoons maple syrup. 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard. 1/2 cup chicken broth. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon dried thyme. Fresh parsley for garnish.
Instructions: Add salt and pepper to the chicken breasts. Put olive oil in a big skillet and heat it over medium-high heat. After you add the chicken breasts, cook for about 5 minutes on each side until both sides are browned. Take it out of the pan and set it aside. Put diced bacon in the same pan and cook it until it's crispy. If you need to, take off the extra grease. In a skillet, mix together the chicken broth, butter, maple syrup, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and dried thyme. Mix things together well. Add the chicken breasts back to the pan and cover them with sauce. Turn down the heat to medium-low, cover, and let it cook for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked.
