Ingredients: 7 cedar planks. 7 salmon fillets. 1 cup soy sauce. 1/2 cup maple syrup. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon ginger, grated. 1/4 cup olive oil. Salt and pepper to taste. Fresh herbs for garnish.
Instructions: For at least an hour, soak the cedar planks in water. Warm up the grill over medium-high heat. Pour soy sauce, maple syrup, ginger, garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper into a bowl. Mix these ingredients together to make the marinade. Put the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and cover each one with 1/7th of the marinade. Let it sit for 30 minutes. Take the cedar planks out of the water and put a salmon fillet that has been marinated on each one. Cover the cedar planks and put them on a hot grill. Salmon should be cooked all the way through after 15 to 20 minutes. Add fresh herbs on top and serve hot.
