hi! so a little while ago, i read up about the witches in my area. from one of them, i know where she got murdered. now, i'd like to do it ritual with her, getting to know her maybe, but i dont know wheter that's possible or even a good idea. anyone want to share their opinion? :)

 If you answered yes to any of those questions or are just a curious person from the Minecraft tag this post is just for you. Hello! This is Cosmo and this post is going to tell you about how to use Minecraft for your Craft!.

 Even though Minecraft is just a bunch of pixels on a screen there is so much magic inside of this game. With endless options of creativity and updates that happen once a year, there are many tools to use in Minecraft. Witchcraft can work in any game mode, I love to use survival but that’s because I love playing the game. If you just want to get a spell done or create a magical-safe place for you in a jiffy then Creative is your best bet. Now since we are done with the intro let’s get to it.

Alters and ritual spaces

As I stated in my Arwan blog post I have an alter built on a Minecraft server. This alter was made up basically on the spot, and since I love the wilderness, out open to the elements. Here is the design I brainstormed on Minecraft Pocket Edition.

As you can see I have little things on some of the Stone pillars. Those things are called item frames, and they have items that represent the deities I worship.

 Iron sword: Ares

Oxeye Daisy: Freyja

Bone: Arwan

Glowstone dust: Apollo

 In this space I give offerings of food items and sometimes of precious materials like gold or diamonds. I only use this space for worship and offerings but others may use this for spells. What I use is a designated ritual/spell area.

Here it is, where I conduct my spells. I use netherack, a way of producing fire instead of the campfire that was on my alter because it actually destroys the item. Campfires just let the thrown items hover about until they despawn, I only put it on my altar for aesthetics.

If I do a spell with the help of a deity I would throw the item I choose to represent them within with the spell ingredients. This leads us into our next thing to talks about which is spells.

Spells and how to do them

In Minecraft there are a few in-game things that people use for spells. Things like flowers, honey, and stones all exist in real life. But there are many items that do not exist in real life. You can carry those correspondences over, but for the items that do not exist what will you do? 

I suggest if you haven’t played the game, play it or just spend some time in creative mode and figure out their use and abilities. Then you can attribute attributes to them. I am currently still writing my correspondences and will release them when I get them done!
