Unrelated to any of ur fics, but what do you think of Bale!Bruce Wayne Batman ? I know that he’s not one of ur fave but can you elaborate on more ? :)

The older I get, the more I think it’s just Christian Bale’s way of speaking. Something about his lips. I don’t know what it is, but whenever he puts on an American accent, it’s flawless except for his mouth position. I can’t quite put my finger on it. Otherwise he is a very, very good Batman. I enjoy watching him in TDK trilogy with obvious caveats about what I like/don’t like in that trilogy as a Batman fan.

Difference between Nolan Batman and Synder Batman.

Nolan: totally plays up the ‘dumb playboy’ persona. Complains about being in the friendzone™️, spends seven years as a hermit in his own home thinking he had gotten out of said friendzone, back is broken and spends like a year physical therapying it back because, pride. Let’s everyone think he’s dead and runs off to Europe with Catwoman. Super serious like all the time.

Synder/Whedon Batman: total beast of a man. Mourns his adopted son and ignores Alfred’s pleas for grandbabies. Pretends to not like friends but personally tracks down Barry Allen/Arthur Curry to join his team. Gets Diana the only picture of her and Steve together. Sometimes says wrong things in attempt to be clever. Eyeshadow on point. Hated superman but then goes Gay for him. Willing to buy banks in order to impress potential boyfriends/mother in laws.
