I looooove the Tom Cardy bard they added to the Legend of Vox Machina. You rarely see the bad guys get bards of their own to blast evil tunes, and that bard battle had to be one of the greatest battles on the show.

My demographic is technically Xennial, but my stat block leans heavily Gen X.
My Official Xennial Composition
45% Permanent Sephiroth Brain Rot: Rent-free penthouse occupation by the legend himself. (Honestly, this number should probably be higher, but we had to leave room for the apathy.)
25% Gen X Sarcasm & "Whatever" Attitude: Heavy side-eye, weaponized apathy, and the steady belief that it is what it is.
15% Bard (Druid) Energy: Attempting to weave high-fantasy epics of legendary proportion while actively wild-shaping into an exhausted possum.
15% Millennial Existential Angst: Sipping coffee while quietly observing the chaotic absurdity of the timeline.
#BARDS ARE WIZARDS TOO
A bard plays "The Power" over Baldur's Gate
A small thing, but I discovered a short ways in that as a Bard, I could Perform, and that there are several songs to pick from. So, of course, in my multi-player game, while waiting for friends to sort their inventory, I broke out in song in the middle of camp.
What I didn't expect was for the companions to come gather around me and actually enjoy my performance. (I even impressed Astarion!)
And when I was done, they tossed me a gold, as if I were busking. Too funny!
I also love that fiddle is a choice of instruments for this game.

Joey Batey on Jaskier's 'womanizing'
Well, it’s interesting you said the word ‘womanizer’. We had a large conversation about that on set with the writers. There was something that I really wanted to make clear: although Jaskier does enjoy the finer things in life, fine wine, fine clothing, fine company, the stereotypical womanizer character I think is a little played out. It’s not necessarily or particularly interesting to watch anymore. We have interpreted it in a slightly stronger way:
It’s not that he womanizes, he just falls in love. with. everyone.
He has such a capacity for love that he will be completely in love with whoever he’s talking to, and then they will say, “I’m just gonna go and get myself a drink.”
And he’ll go, “Alright. I love you. I’ll see you later.” And then he’ll spot someone and be like, “I love them now as well.”
It’s not that he’s cheating or womanzing, it’s the fact that he genuinely is like a puppy dog. Just completely obsessed with whoever is in front of him. And that was the direction in which we wanted to take Jaskier for this interpretation.
