In looking back over my archives here, I realized that even though I shared a few of the subclasses I made for Theros, I never actually posted all of them! Now seems like a good time to correct that.
If you do like what you see here, I've also got an entire compendium full of monsters, magic items, and other character options, all inspired by and made for Theros, a Greek mythology inspired setting. Over 150 pages worth of content, its available over on my patreon for all paying patrons, a deal that starts at just $2/month!
There are always those who sing the praises of the gods. In Virae they perform a crucial duty often working in a PR team for their favorite gods.
Thaumaturge
When you join this college at 3rd level, your ability to command attention is fueled by divinity. You learn the Word of Radiance cantrip, and can center it on a point of your choosing within 30ft of you. Furthermore when learning spells, you can choose to learn a spell from the cleric spell list.
Hymns
Also at 3rd level, you are protected by divine forces. You gain resistance to radiant and necrotic damage.
Grace
Finally at 3rd level, whenever you cast a spell that deals damage, you can change it to radiant damage.
Praise
At 6th level, you learn the Revivify spell. When you cast it, you can add a roll of your bardic inspiration die and grant the number rolled plus your charisma modifier in hit points to your target.
Glory
Finally, at 14th level you invoke the might of the gods. Whenever you deal radiant damage, you can choose to deal additional damage equal to a roll of your bardic inspiration die.
As the two-headed ettin charges towards the halfling's party, she quickly orients her hand mirror to reflect the sun's rays, and a scorching burst of rainbow magic leaves the giant smoldering in its tracks. She smiles, and makes sure her makeup isn't out of place before tucking the Prismatic Focus back into her bag, and continuing on her journey.
I recently went through and counted how many subclasses I had made for each class, and realized that prior to this I had only made a single Bard College. I really wanted to hit an artistic niche that I feel has been left out, and colors and light is something that no current Bard College feels like it fully embraces. I hope this does the trick for all of you looking for something similar! The PDF of the images can be found here, and the Homebrewery link that will continue to be updated with any changes is here. Leave your feedback and thoughts below (be kind!) and I hope you all enjoy.
