In looking back over my archives here, I realized that even though I shared a few of the subclasses I made for Theros, I never actually posted all of them! Now seems like a good time to correct that.
If you do like what you see here, I've also got an entire compendium full of monsters, magic items, and other character options, all inspired by and made for Theros, a Greek mythology inspired setting. Over 150 pages worth of content, its available over on my patreon for all paying patrons, a deal that starts at just $2/month!

Rogue subclasses are pretty simple and fun to make. One thing that I like about rogues is that they can be very versatile and unique from one another. They are more specialists than anything, and they don't have to be thieves or criminals.
This subclass if for a bounty hunter like character archetype, and adds a new weapon/damage mechanic: traps, which can do a variety of damage as well as status effects once activated. Additionally, the bounty hunter gets proficiency with nets and heavy crossbows.
We've released our Rogue Toxicologist Subclass over on Cloaks & Capes Patreon page for free! All you have to do is join the free member tier, and you can find it in the Free Resources Collection!
You'll also find previous free releases, including the Oath of Protection Paladin, and species known as the Dreamwalkers, the Oneiraxi.
Plus a bunch of other cool stuff like monsters and magic items!
Because Twilight Clerics and Star Druids are among my absolute new favourite things, and more classes should get mysterious starlit subclasses to play with.
ROGUEISH ARCHETYPE: STARSWORN
Sometimes, even the most righteous cause requires a more subtle approach. There are times when an assassin’s blade can save as many lives as a knight’s shield, if not more. With that knowledge, certain powers of good, those accustomed to acting as beacons of watchfulness and light in darkness, might choose to empower more subtle agents against their foes. Equally, when evil and darkness come to call, individuals of a certain skillset may choose to take up the starsworn oath of their own free will. Such rogues become a blade of light in the darkness, subtle and sure.
DARKWALKER
Starsworn rogues walk in the darkness, their eyes wide open, not only to enemies but to evil. When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in the Insight and Perception skills. Your proficiency bonus is doubled for any ability check you make that uses either of those proficiencies. You also gain darkvision to a range of 60ft, if you don’t already have it.
STARBLADE
Starting at 3rd level, you gain the ability to apply the blessings of starlight to one weapon. Choose one weapon in your possession with which you are proficient and which does not have the heavy or two-handed properties. As part of a long rest, you impart the blessing of starlight upon it, creating a Starblade with the following properties:
Radiant Blade. Attacks with your Starblade deal radiant damage instead of the normal damage type for that weapon.
Blade of Truth. If you touch a creature with your Starblade, you can force them to make a Charisma saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier). On a failed save, for 10 minutes, the creature cannot tell a lie while in contact with the blade. They can choose not to speak, but they cannot utter a knowing falsehood. You know whether the creature succeeds or fails the saving throw.
A weapon remains your Starblade until you die or you impart the blessing upon a different weapon.
NIGHTGLEAM
At 9th level, you gain the ability to imbue an enemy with your Starblade’s radiance, marking them to your sight. As a bonus action, when you hit a creature with an attack from your Starblade, you can limn them in a faint glow of starlight to your eyes. For 1 minute, while your Nightgleam is active, you have advantage on attack rolls against that creature if you can see them, and they cannot benefit from invisibility against you. Once you use this ability, you cannot use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
DAWNGLEAM
Starting at 13th level, you gain the ability to spread your Starblade’s influence even to those it has not touched directly. When a creature imbued with your Nightgleam dies, you can move the effect to another creature that you can see within 30ft of you.
DAYGLEAM
At 17th level, your Starblade shines its light more fiercely and devastatingly. At the start of each of their turns, creatures imbued with your Nightgleam must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier). On a failed save, the creature gains vulnerability to radiant damage for 1 round. This has no effect if the creature is immune to radiant damage.
