Barkfur, Lightclan Medicine Cat

Female (She/her)

Parents: Dustnose (surrogate mother), Morningshadow, and Acornstar (deceased)

Siblings: Speckleheart

Description: A short-legged, light brown she-cat with amber eyes. Barkfur is very interested in healing though she isn’t particularly skilled in the field, in part due to only having a short time to train. Her mentor was Hemlockleaf, a highly skilled medicine cat, but he got snatched by an eagle before he could complete her training. Leaving Barkfur as the sole medicine cat of Lightclan much earlier than normal. All she really wants is to be able to help her clanmates.

One of her fathers, Acornstar, died when she was still a young apprentice so her memories of him are fuzzy. He lost his final life trying to protect kits who had wandered off during a blizzard, but all four of them froze to death before the storm passed. Barkfur likes kits but doesn’t like being around them too much. She finds them overwhelming and tends to be very stressed when around them for too long.

Warrior cats mcu au doodles. Tony and Steve and co are apprentice age when the story begins, and Carol, Nat and Clint are somewhat young warriors, with Clint being a couple of moons older. Thor is older than clint, with Loki being younger by some moons.

a scribbly page 2 of the warrior cats au comic idea. one version without explanations/text and one with ^^;

i didnt want it to be just like firepaw’s thing with the collar, so i have tony removing it prior to entering the clan. i havent decided how things go from semi-hostile glances to the clan leader accepting tony and making him an apprentice, so there’s probably a time gap there of some kind :p

scribbly panels of tony leaving to join Birdclan!  p much uses the ideas me and kam tossed around, combined with art they did of tony cat looking out the window, and the art i did of him meeting with steve and bucky in the garden. plus the new designs i’ve mostly settled on ^^

 (the cats he’s meeting are steve and bucky - newly-made warriors whose names are goldenheart and barkfur. tony is given the name rustpaw and apprenticed to darkbelly aka obadiah. later on tony gains his warrior name rustheart. around that time, goldenheart becomes deputy and barkfur goes missing.)
