If you asked Baru if she’d fuck her clone she’d spend hours agonizing over whether it was something she sincerely wanted or somehow part of Farrier’s conditioning. Was this all part of his plan? Did he anticipate her saying yes, knowing she would have no way of acting upon it? Would it be a “safe” way for her to act upon her tribadist tendencies, proving he still holds sway over her? Would she inadvertently seal her own fate, since every woman who lays with her is irretrievably doomed? Or would this be the only woman she could safely fuck, which again would play into Farrier’s hand? Would it make her appear more unaffected by Hu’s death, or less so?
