Last mermaids for this year (so far- I got one more sketch but I don’t think I’ll get it don before the end of may considering how busy I am). Had another go at the red lipped bat fish as I just did a few sketches last year. That’s a fun challenge to anthropomorphize. The black ghost knife fish (what a name!) was a fish I wanted to do after seeing the awesome art by Erin:

Go see his mermaids btw, they’re very awesome.

I also had a go at a paddle fish (was gonna do basking shark- but paddle fish is that little bit more weird) then another colourful fish also called bat fish.

Lots of fun this year and I hope to do more!
