Everyone is speculating what villains may be in the next Batman movie so may I offer up for your consideration- Condiment King and Crazy Quilt.

I know this seems like a shitpost, but hear me out- this is the perfect set of villains to introduce a circus child to! The colors, silliness, kitsch: Dick wouldn't be scared. Plus it could be easy take down, while Reeves would offer some depth to these characters, it could also leave a lot of the story for more emotional development and the beginning of Robin. I am over the Joker and Two Face and that nonsense. Give me Kite Man, Ten Eyed Man, Calendar Man... Bring back the Adam West villains of King Tut or Egghead. Maybe we can even have a female villain and go with Orca.

I just feel like as a society, we have passed the need for edgy batman villains. His rogue gallery is huge. Please stop choosing the same villains. I want Bruce looking exhausted coming home smelling like a hot dog and explaining to alfred he will have to get relish out of his cowl's ear. Robert obviously agrees with me!

Gotham's rogues should always be possessive of Batman in a way that makes other heroes and vigilantes raise an eyebrow and judge the Bat or assume he's a meta with an ability of making his enemies obsess over him.

Realistically, how much crime do you think would be prevented if Batman agreed to a scheduled weekly hour of one-on-one hanging out with every individual member of certain subset of his Rogue’s Gallery?

Gotham Hogwarts Debate

It’s been a long time since I had one of these debates and it’s been buzzing around my head for a while now so... which Hogwarts house do we think the Gotham gang would be in?

I think the likes of Selina, Oswald, maybe Zsasz, Jervis, and Harvey Dent would be in Slytherin.

Ed, Jonathan, Victor Fries, and Lucius would be in Ravenclaw, I don’t think there’s any debate about that.

Jeremiah would be either a Ravenclaw or a Slytherin; depends on just why Jeremiah lied to his mother to get away from Jerome. Did he really fear Jerome or did he just want to get away from the circus and used Jerome’s hyperactive personality as an excuse? Lee is another that could be either/or; she’s a brilliant doctor, but she was Queen of the Narrow’s and was ready to even give up Jim to Sofia to protect the Narrow’s. And when she took her crown back? Slytherin move.

Jerome and Jim would be in Gryffindor thanks to their determination and will to get their own way.

Harvey Bullock, Bridgit, Nora, Ecco, and Alfred would be in Hufflepuff, though Alfred strikes me as a very forceful Hufflepuff. Though one should never underestimate the house whose mascot is a badger.

Bruce is legit hard to place; his loyalty to Gotham, Jim, Selina, and Alfred is worthy or Hufflepuff, his undeniable courage in facing Jerome, his desire to get to the bottom of the Court of Owls and tracking down his parents killer is worthy of Ravenclaw, and his ambition to save Gotham, as well as him using Jerome’s desire of putting on a show to give himself more time to be saved in season 3, is pure Slytherin. 

What do you think? Should Jerome be in Slytherin? Would Jeremiah have gone to Hufflepuff to appear less threatening so others would underestimate him? Did Bridgit become a roaring lioness? Should Victor Fries be in Slytherin due to his ambition to save his wife? And what house do you think Bruce would do best in?
