So, after my late night Bat Love post yesterday. Raymond stumbled across a little stranded Bat in our garden this morning. (I have to admit that I thought he was pranking me with a spider so I was petrified at first). So little Batty got a shoebox home for the day following instruction from the Northern Ireland Bat Group. He had a comfy cloth and even took some water from a teaspoon and cotton bud. I don't think he's injured. Hopefully just a little tired. I really hope he's ok and gets home to his family. 🦇 Now Raymond thinks I should doing the lottery after that coincidental post and impromptu rescue. 🦇 And, yes, this Bat was like the teeniest puppy with wings. No bigger than my thumb.
