Times of the Master
Times of the Master
~Sachin Tendulkar poetry is my self invented poetry genre.
It aims to bring out the nostalgia of sachin’s era. All poems in this genre are made & themed to honor Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar.

Favourite Cricketers 2011
I was going to try and do my favourite XI cricketers currently, but that was never going to work, I wouldn't have enough openers, I don't think, and I'd end up with too many middle order batsmen, but what the heck, I'll roll with it. So, in no particular order:
Shakib Al-Hasan
What a hero. Basically between him and Tamin Iqbal they make the Bangladesh team a competitive force in world cricket. He's probably the second best batsman in the team, behind the supremely gifted Tamin, who really deserves to have his own section, and can destroy teams once he gets going. He's also probably the best bowler in the team too. And he captains it. And he's still 23. Madness.
Sachin Tendulkar
How this man, nay batting god, could not be in anyone's list, I just don't know. The best batsmen I've ever seen play the game, and a wonderful representative for the game of cricket too. Certainly on of the all time greats.
AB de Villers
By all acounts he isn't the nicest person in the world, but hey, it's cricket skills we're talking about here, and boy has he got it. Probably one of the top batsmen in the world today, capable of madness on his day, yet always looks in control. Fantastic fielder as well.
