Glow (A Tech x Reader Drabble)

You had only been working with the Bad Batch for a few weeks, and they were unlike any clones you had ever met. Crosshair didn’t seem to mind you, Wrecker seemed to like you (though you were a little afraid he might knock you over!), and Hunter was very kind. One of the boys, however, stood out among the rest: Tech.

You worked with Tech regularly. You were tasked to help him keep track of his data, issue reminders, and help analyze his experiments. You were like a lab assistant, secretary, and personal encyclopedia all rolled up into one.

His inquisitive nature absolutely captivated you. You could spend all day answering his questions and indulging his curiosity. Nothing made your heart swell more than Tech’s bright eyes and calm smile.

He was handsome too- his brown hair had a soft tinge of red to it, and his eyes sparkled in the light from hyperspace. His round glasses complimented his chiseled jawline, and when he leaned over to look at you, you felt like you were short circuiting.

Tech was enamored with you.

He couldn’t take his gaze off of you. His slender fingers darted up to touch you, and you lit up inside. He smiled softly, strong hands wrapped around your sides. You swore his face glowed when he touched you, and you felt as if you were coming to life in his grasp.

The moment was exhilarating- you wished you could spend the rest of your life cradled in Tech’s supple hands, staring into his curious eyes-

“Tech, put down the kriffing datapad and fly the ship!” Tech rolled his eyes at Hunter, tossing you aside onto the bunk.

Sigh.

warnings: the book of boba fett episode 1 spoilers ahead!!! stop now if you haven't seen it yet!!

Boba Fett was a complicated man.

Tatooine's unrelenting desert went on for miles, blasting at your textured face and eroding at your edges until you felt smooth, blinded and buried by the sands.

You remember the hot suns, the acid of the ground. The Mandalorian's rough fingers seemed to claw away at the darkness surrounding you, and, despite the planet's eternal brightness, you felt as though you were experiencing light for the first time.

His gaze was thirsty, and his piercing brown eyes revealed a man of discipline and strength. You remember the scars that criss-crossed his face like the dune sea itself, vast and dry, fearsome yet exquisitely beautiful. He was truly competent, with evident strength of both mind and body as he seemed to plunge his hands into your very heart. Boba Fett begged for everything within you to spill forth, a splash of silver clarity against the desert sand.

It didn't last long. Almost as soon as he found you, you were torn from his parched grasp. "Easy youngling, I need some water," he grumbled. That damned kid poured the rest of you directly into his creepy pet's mouth, (get wrecked lol).
