Palindrome: Sometimes, whenever he gets annoyed by me or just wants to play around with me, 2K will hide in a place random enough to make it almost impossible to find him. Heck! There was even one time he he hid within the Elder’s beard! Which I have no clue as to why he was not fazed by that whatsoever.

Elder: (Walks in) Well my fellow Zim, 2K happened to have asked me. He told me his plan and I went along with it. Honestly, seeing the little one do those tricksters towards you gives me quite the entertainment. Ah yes. Reminds me of how I was when I was his age. 

Palindrome: ....Arent we technically the same age?

YEEEEE THEYRE FINISHED!!

I don’t know what happened. I happened to be riding with my family in the car and all of a sudden my brain told me,

“What if Palindrome became a mutated fish monster?”

Somehow it made me want to rush to my tablet as soon as I got home. I don’t think I have made anything this dark in a while, as I’m normally not the type of artist who draws dark stuff.

So the whole au event pretty much takes place after the Zimvoid arc where the two were able to survive from Zim’s plan on annihilating the Zimvoid. I don’t what the cause of it could be yet, but Palindrome fish DNA one day becomes unstable to the point where he mutates into this creature and causes havoc wherever he goes. So 2K needs to find a way to help him and change him back to his original self .

Not sure if anyone is interested but if becomes successful, I will most like make more of these, as I have also wanted to draw some comforting moments as well.

Drew this as part of the first anniversary of Issue 49’s release, which was the very last issue of the Zimvoid arc. It still feels like yesterday when I still read and I’m not over the ending. Hopefully those two are ok, wherever or whenever they might be.

Also. Damn. My skills on Procreate is really starting to show improvements. Although it could just be me.
