Sweet and sour barbecue sauce glaze on tender spareribs that have been rubbed with a flavorful dry rub. Great for your next barbecue outside!
Ingredients: 3 lbs spareribs. 1 cup barbecue sauce. 2 tbsp brown sugar. 1 tbsp paprika. 1 tsp garlic powder. 1 tsp onion powder. 1 tsp black pepper. 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper. Salt to taste.
Instructions: Warm up the grill over medium-high heat. Add black pepper, cayenne pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt to a small bowl. Mix the spices together to make a dry rub. Spread the dry rub out over the spareribs so that it covers all sides. Before you put the spareribs on the grill, heat it up. Cook each side for 10 minutes, or until they are browned. Spread a lot of barbecue sauce over the spareribs with a brush. Turn the ribs over and baste them with sauce every 10 minutes for another 20 to 30 minutes, or until they are fully cooked and have a nice caramelized glaze. After taking the spareribs off the grill, let them rest for 5 minutes before cutting them. Enjoy the tasty barbecued spareribs while they're still hot!
