Kingsman - watched The Golden Circle yesterday. More of the same formula, but turned to eleven. Kingsman is great fun, it just works for me in a way that Kick-Ass and other slow-mo-heavy films don’t. In a similar vein, while red check isn’t a staple of men’s bespoke, I am a fan of the cut of this jacket.

It’s a shame that this is the one film that prominently features spectacles, and I forgot to wear mine. I’ve been so used to putting on contacts for lolita that I did it that morning out of habit. It seems I’m always in a hurry when it comes to daily dressing; lolita takes me time to put on, and sometimes I see the point of collecting one-piece dresses.
A fun fact: I got a huge kick out of the music they used for the trailer, because Frank Sinatra’s My Way is something of a local legend.
Karaoke is massive in the Philippines. Karaoke can be as cheap as P5 (approx. 10 US cents) in open-air karaoke bars; and the problem is that when anyone can sing, everyone who can hear you has an opinion. Some people are so passionate about singing the song just so, that it gets to the point of fistfights and shootings; the phenomenon has been dubbed the 'My Way Killings'.
Solution? Get a private karaoke booth. And maybe some vocal lessons. It always helps to sing on-key.
