Growing up as a competitive athlete I ALWAYS considered running as a punishment. Didn’t matter the place, didn’t matter the sport I HATED RUNNING for distance. It was pointless. I didn’t have the mental or physical stamina to do it. Things fast changed when I entere my first fitness challenge and used city streets as my goals. It was amazing! Running the streets of NYC with a purpose like so many people I envied. I was hooked. Entering numerous races and promising to live a healthier and active life. Now that promise didn’t stick but in October things changed. In October I decided to reclaim my time and live for me. I started to run again now. Falling in love with the experience all over again and going as far as committing to complete a half marathon. As I count down until 3/18, I’m excited, nervous and afraid. But extremely optimistic in my endurance and willingness to undertake this challenge. Only a few days left to donate to my personal Team for Kids page, I’d love your support today and on 3/18! See you at the finish line!!! https://runwithtfk.org/Profile/PublicPage/57097 #personaldevelopment #activelifestyle #beyourownhero #whyirun #instarunners #runnersofinsta #runnersofinstagram #runnersworld #teamforkids #tfkhalfmarathon #unitednychalfmarathon #nychalfmarathon #teambeachbody #beachbodycoach #beachbodyperformanceenergize #happylife #reclaimingmytime #lafemmesporta #jmesteesboutique #doingthisforme
