Contrary to what photos may depict, our side of the lake is very much dominated by cliff-sides and high dunes with barely any beach along most the lake. This makes easy access quite limiting to just a few beaches when winter hits. My most favorite spots became pretty inaccessible as winter began and now that it’s progressed, even my backup beaches are off limits. This should be beach all the way to the tree line. I got out here last week and over the weekend it’s closed.
