On Tuesday, February 23rd at 7:00 Project HEAL University of Pittsburgh Chapter is hosting a speaking event with Stacy Nadeau. Stacy Nadeau was a participant in Dove's first campaign for "real beauty" and, along with 5 other women, was featured in an un-retouched advertisement on a billboard in Times Square in order to spark a conversation across America regarding the stereotypes of beauty. She has since gone on to become a speaker regarding positive body image, the dangers of the current beauty standards, and how these can be changed to influence young men and women for the better. Admission is free for Pitt students with a valid ID and $10 for non-students.
