On the beautiful magic of books

There are some books you stay in but only while you’re reading them. As soon as you close the page then that world closes too.

Then there are others you live in for longer, as long as you’re reading that book, you’re living in that world. But as soon as you finish it and move on to the next, you let go.

And then there are the best of all, the ones that, even after having read them and moved on onto other books, other adventures, you’re still living in their world, long after the page is closed, the book finished.

I first read Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom more than two years ago. But I never truly let go.

While I'm in between foster cats, it's a good time to catch up on my tbr pile. Especially the books that are becoming movies/shows that I REALLY want to see!!
