I feel like in 30 or so years there should be a "Where Are They Now" kind of documentary following prominent fat acceptance and HAES activists so we can see all the health issues they will inevitably have and see which of them are actually still alive
if anyone has my back when it comes to doing scary things on my computer i just KNOW it's my boy Beetus the G'joob.
Is this something that is wanted?
Hey internet,
So I have been living with Type 1 Diabetes for 25 years and it has been a rollercoaster (but we wont get into this here).
I have come out on top of this, but when I was struggling (and when I still do) I found a lot other diabetics being really “inspiration porny” and overly positive (if that makes sense) about it. I also found that people shared an unrealistic and dramatized version of what living with diabetes is like. I didn’t really resonate with this and found myself really disconnected from the diabetic world as a result.
I am now in a place where I can share what I have been through and my realistic (and hopefully humorous yet useful) experiences as someone who hates regular exercise, thinks dieting is stupid and is a frequent speaker of the phrase “oh sh*t I forgot my insulin”).
Is this a thing that the internet is interested in reading?
And lastly, one of the many Wilford Brimley youtube poops. Some of these sucked, but there were also some great ones where he just rambles on and on about eating weird things and giving everyone diabetus, Also, he has a wonderful mustache!
Had blood work done at the shoulder follow up and my A1C is holding steady at a 6.7, down from 6.8 three months ago (10.9 in 5/21). It's still a little high but slowly making progress. Now if I can get some of this weight off.... #healthupdate #fallingapart #a1c #beetus #progress #binkysadventures https://www.instagram.com/p/CYrHGqCrb9C/?utm_medium=tumblr

Who likes some sugary sugar treats? Went to a shop called Lolli and Pops the other day, and good god... I’m pretty sure I got the beetus just looking at everything XD (but reals, I bought some macarons for myself and my sis, and they were delightful! <3)
