Lovely scindapsus, sadly no idea the variety. Possibly ‘Exotica’.
I’ve just moved it more to my eye level so that it gets watered more consistently. It’s put up with me very well.

If you want to start an herb garden but want an easy beginning plant to get used to or just want an easy herb that tastes really good, here are my top two suggestions.
Mint: Delicious. You probably know what this tastes and looks like. Really hard to kill. Like, it can grow almost anywhere. It can handle almost any kind of soil, light, and water conditions. Grows fast and big. Put it in a planter though, it will overtake the rest of your garden if you just put it in the ground. If the planter is sitting on the ground make sure there isn't a drainage hole in the bottom, it'll crawl out and grow outside the planter. Should probably be classified as a weed tbh.
Lemon Balm: A LOT like mint. It can actually be difficult to tell them apart by sight, but the taste is very different. Lemon balm has slightly darker leaves with little like... hairs or spines I guess? and more of a heart shape. It's slightly sweeter than mint but somehow with a more lemony taste? Idk but I like it much better straight off the bush than mint. In terms of hardness, it's almost exactly like mint only more intense. It can grow in the rockiest or sandiest soil with way too much water or in drought conditions. It also grows faster than mint which is... saying something.
You can make tea with both of these herbs!

The Sill - House Plants Unboxing and Mini Review!
The Sill – House Plants Unboxing and Mini Review!
Long time no see, online journal! This post will be a review for The Sill. What is it?
Disgusted with my local Home Depot’s sad winter selection, I took to the internet to look for new house plants, like any other good Millennial would. I literally just googled “house plants” and The Sill was one of the first websites that came up. It’s an online shop with cute and simple plants for sale. At the…

I feel you know something about plants based off what you reblog and your little bio so would you know of any plants that are good for beginners? I've basically never had plants before but I'd like to start , I just don't know what kind of plant is good for me le plant beginner
I LOVE PLANTS !!!!I study botany in my free time and I’m a plant nerd. Ok so for beginners I usually recommended classics. But this depends on what you’re interested in growing. I’m going to start with house plants:1.) succulents! You only need to water them once of twice a month but quick warning they grow like crazy so they don’t stay small forever. You can cut them back 2.) cacti, in the same family as succulents they don’t need a lot of water but they don’t grow fast depending on the type. 3.) herbs!!! Usually fit for gardens and empty spaces, you can contain mint and lavender to pots and keep them inside year round. Herbs are super hardy and almost always grow back since they’re perennials4.) air plants might seem easy but you have to mist them once or twice a week. They require more work but are still relatively easy and don’t take up too much space. 5.)if you have little pots and feel like growing something Extra try growing radishes or lettuce. Place them in direct sunlight and water often, these require extra work.
You can make a terrarium to avoid constant watering for succulents and mosses. There are easy tutorials online
