Cosmic horror is vastness and scale.
Eldritch horror is knowledge and causality.
Cosmic inspires insignificance, eldritch inspires madness.
There is a difference.

If I could draw, I would make a comic showing the weird and stupid things that must have happened in between the cutscenes.
Like how Myrrine stands outside of her house for hours or days until Kassandra returns to help her through the door.
Like how Brasidas tells Kassandra he’ll wait for her by the ship [to Pylos] and then apparently just waves and sets sail when she arrives, forcing her to find her own means of transport.
Like how Nikolaos walked from Megaris all the way to Sparta without anyone spotting him, then sneaking into his abandoned house to steal a rabbit skull, and then walking back to Megaris to spend the next four years stalking his son.
Like how all the Cultists must have been arriving and staying in and around Delphi for the big meeting, and then everyone of them donning their robes and masks and walking out of the houses they were staying in to all head for the same secret snake door at roughly the same time. And then all of them heading back to their houses and taking off their disguises, and somehow this led to their identities being kept secret.
Just to name a few.
But, alas, I can’t even draw convincing stick figures, so these comics will never be.
Ok, I have a question for my SPoP peeps...
I have a minor pet peeve that I keep running into based upon one specific term, and it just comes from me having done research into the history and use of said term.
If I were to expand upon this, it would be in the sense of “Here’s some cool historical information you might not know! Now that you do, feel free to incorporate or ignore as you wish! Have a great day, keep learning!”
But since it is a pet peeve, I really feel uncomfortable going out and saying “You know...”
(Especially since, given the research that went into SPoP, I doubt this was ever actually part of the *cough* “world building.” It aligns with canon, but may just be a coincidence.)
Long way if me saying...
Anyone interested in me reading up again on this historical usage of the word “Prince” (and by extent, “Princess”) and how the modern usage is exceptionally - limited??
(This also explains why there are so many dang Princes in fairy tales, including addressing plot holes such as “Why did no one notice the King’s son in Beauty and the Beast was missing?” Spoiler: he most likely was never that high on the succession list, if related to a King at all....)

Redemption is not the same as forgiveness. Nobody deserves redemption, because redemption is a series of choices made by the person. Being able to choose to be a better person is a right.
You have the right to chose to change.
Everyone else has the right to not forgive you for your past actions.
That does not change the fact that you are working on becoming a better person.
Redemption is not forgiveness.
