Summery‧˚｡ﾟ･° ｡✎ Have you ever thought about these three sharing a darling? I have, and if you lower their yandere tendencies a bit I think it works. Mostly you just have to make Ivan less clingy and Belarus less clingy and it works out.

Misc‧˚｡ﾟ･° ｡✎ as always this is about yanderes so talk of an unhealthy relationship, murder, kidnapping, death, and other dark topics.

How do they give affection?

All of them are clingy. I know that all yanderes are, but these three never want you to leave their side. Belarus and Russia more often than Ukraine. 

Belarus needs your attention by having you constantly by her side. There are strict rules for you to call, text, and send pictures often. She'll have a tracking device on you and something like life360 on your phone. Since you're not allowed anywhere without one of the three being with you she'll also stay in contact with whoever is watching you. Natalia is most happy when you're next to her, but having you call is okay. It's not the same but it's a good supplement while someone else gets their turn with you.

Ukraine needs you to help her live a happy domestic life. When you're over there are chores and tasks you're expected to do. Meals are eaten with Irunya at the table, the farm animals are to be taken care of (you're allowed to play with them),and picking up after yourself are just some of the rules. Irunya loves you but she loves the other two as well, so she's ok with not seeing you as often as them. Just make sure you give her lots of attention when she's keeping you. 

Russia shows affection by squishing you. That's the most of it. He will bear hug you and squeeze you so hard. He's a little afraid of letting go, so the hugs will last longer than you may expect. Being held in his lap while he works is a daily occurrence. He wants to be there physically. When you're gone he doesn't feel better by your texts. He feels better knowing you'll be by his side again. Which is why he doesn't mind sharing you with Belarus and Ukraine. He knows they'll always bring you back. You will always be with him.

Don't play favorites. Not only will you hurt one/two of them but they will gladly agree to acclimate you to the one(s) you don't like. Which means spending weeks with a yandere who's now very upset over how obvious you've made your feelings.

How do they handle the dirty work?

When things get messy Natalia and Ivan will do the dirty work and Irunya will clean up. This works in several different ways.

An ex comes back into your life and tries to interfere, or you run into the arms of someone else for help? Ivan and Natalia will be the ones to kill him. Blade, poison, arrows, or killing him socially. Ruining their life may seem extreme, but for you nothing is too extreme. After it's all done Ukraine will bury the body on her farm. She'll keep you busy while the deed is done so you can't question anything until it's too late. The three are a deadly trio.

If the dirty work is punishing you it works much the same way. Natalia and Ivan will dish out the punishment. Ivan is more heavy handed. Hell just punish you through violence and threats. The embodiment of Russia will just terrorist you into submission through whatever means necessary. 

Natalia is a bit different. She tailors her punishments to the crime in question. Not spending enough time with her, she'll tie your hands together with rope. The message is easier to get across that way in her mind.

Together they are so much worse than when alone.

Which is where Irunya comes in. She's the aftercare of the three. It's too hard for her to punish you so when upset she'll just contact the other two. Her job is to care for you. Covering wounds, applying antibiotics, keeping you well fed, giving you rest, and keeping you company with her soothing (and smothering) love. It's heaven compared to what you just went through. 

How they treat you.

The three love doting on you. They keep no secrets. This does mean sharing loving stories about what sweet thing you said earlier that day, how you blushed after they complimented you, and gushing about their shared partner.

It can get embarrassing sometimes, and other times it's scary. If you upset one they will openly discuss if you should be punished, what punishment is acceptable, and who would carry it out. It's mortifying. Sitting there with them as they casually talk about it like it's the weather they're discussing.

What if you leave them?

All three of them have different ways of coping with you once you leave. If you die or are gone for good in their eyes it makes no difference.

Irunya grieves. She cries and sobs for weeks trying to figure out where she went wrong. Her siblings will comfort her as much as they can. It's just hard to stay connected. They all grieve so differently that it puts a strain on their relationship. Ukraine will miss you, but she accepts that you're gone. Tears only do so much and she will give up eventually. She'll make you a grave on her farm. Even if your body isn't buried there, she feels that your spirit resides there. It brings her comfort.

Ivan deludes himself into thinking everything is ok. You never wanted to leave, you were stolen away. When you died it was a tragic accident and you loved all three of them so dearly, even if you had fought for hours before death. He will lie to himself and act like nothing ever happened. Even when his siblings try to correct him on these events it does nothing. He just nods and shakes his head. Not hearing a word.

Belarus will go numb. She'll have a few weeks where she can barely get out of bed and go to work. Her siblings will spend time with her to make things easier. As time passes it'll become easier to bear. The heavy absence your presence leaves is still too much to bear. It's difficult, but she manages. Ivans way of coping infuriates her, and Ukraine makes her sad. The grave is a dark reminder she'd rather avoid.

A rift forms between the siblings almost. Not so much because you broke them apart, but rather you brought them together. Without you they aren't as close anymore. Time heals all wounds eventually. Perhaps as time goes on they will talk again more often.

What are they like when jealous?

Ivan gets very jealous. It's in his nature. He's so used to being alone, now you're here! How could he not want all of your attention? Since you're with his siblings he doesn't mind it as much, but it's still quite a balancing act for you. Get good at this game or it will end badly.

Belarus also gets jealous, but only if it's not her siblings. Of course you can't say you prefer Ukraine or Russia over her, but you can show them affection without her getting upset. If you show attention to a stranger, coworker, or waiter that she deserves as too much it's a different matter. Don't think Belarus won't embarrass you. She will walk you out of that restaurant if you're making too much eye contact. 

Irunya doesn't get that jealous. You sleep in her or her siblings bed at the end of the day, and she’s ok with that. On her own she gets more jealous but the other two help calm her down.

How could you escape from them?

The only way to freedom would be to get into contact with one (or several) of their nation's higher-ups. If you can convince their bosses even better, but that's difficult and requires extreme planning and manipulation to pull off. I don't like saying that though because I feel that's true for all of the countries.

It's just, other than that there is no escape. They all cover their bases well. Natalia keeps tabs on you through your technology 24/7, Ivan has people following you around and is too terrorizing to double cross, and Irunya is keeping an eye on all your friends and family. Not to mention once you do leave, where will you go? You have one superpower and two other countries after you. No border is safe unless you get far away very quickly.

How do they react when you act out?

Natalia ignores you. Don't want to eat? Starve then. You'll have to eat eventually, and when you do she'll rub it in your face. Same with sleeping. Once you pass out she'll just leave you there (unless you're in public or in danger of freezing to death). She would let your punishment be the consequences of your own actions. As long as you don't try to hurt yourself or anyone else.

If you attack Belarus, well that's an odd statement, because you won't be able to land a hit. The punishment is much like all her others. Want to stab her in the back? She'll do the same. Literally. She'll stab you the same way you tried to stab her. She'll talk the entire time too. Saying things like now you know her pain, and how you should be glad it's not worse. It does get worse. None of the siblings like to see the other two hurt. However they get the news once they do there will be hell to pay. The one wound is small and bleak in comparison. 

Speaking of worse, Ivan. His punishments are extreme. Being left in the cold, having food and clothes taken away (which even in the house is a huge threat due to the cold), and making you spend time with him. Which isn't much of a punishment, until you realize he wants to spend time hurting you. Sadism is a normal part of Ivan. he just enjoys seeing you squirm in pain or to let out a cute little whimper of pain. Injuring you is a show of love in his eyes. Don’t the bruises look so cute?

If you attack him, he'll just break one of your bones. Reflexes kick in when he sees you move at him with his own pipe. Before Russia even realizes what’s going on he’s twisting your arm until a crunchy pop is heard. The pain is imiddeate, but Ivan doesn't notice anything going on around him. He’s too torn up and heartbroken over what just happened. How could you? The punishment is immediate and swift. He’ll be in your face yelling and screaming. He’ll pick up the pipe and brandish it. Threatening to hit you, and doing so several times. Don’t try to run. He’ll just break your legs.

Irunya is so different. Not that she can’t be tough! Scary just isn't in her nature. Being motherly and caring by nature doesn't blend well with punishments. Most of her punishments are things you’d see from a disappointed parent. Sending you home without dinner, giving you extra chores for the day, making you clean the entire house, and giving you some of the undesirable tasks that come up. Like cleaning manure out of the barns or cleaning out the chicken coops. These aren't tough by any means, and if you enjoy cleaning or animals they're quite fun. It’s if she tells the other two about your bad behavior that’s a problem. They know how little cruelty is there and will take up punishing you in her place. Just don’t let things get out of hand and it wont get to that.

Attacking her will wind you up in the barn. Want to act like an animal? She’ll treat you like one! You’ll be stuck out there until one of the other siblings comes to pick you up for their time with you. Then you have to deal with them and what they decide to do.

I regret to say that when I first started working on this ask, I was only going to delve a little bit into each of your questions, but my heart insisted on expanding each answer for you, and... Well...

I'll be dividing this into two different posts, as everything together is far too long to put into a single answer. ^_^;

In general, I don't think the Nations would be particularly attracted to someone for their aesthetic per say. In order to approach this, I instead tried to picture which of the Nations would likely mesh best with said aesthetics, and a few scenarios were born.

First up is Dark Academia, which kind of veers a bit more into the gothic/horror vibes than I was anticipating, but came to absolutely love as I went along.

Dark Academia:

Austria

Roderich has always been a perfectionist, often spends hours practising each day.

He's often finding inspiration for his compositions in seemingly the most mundane moments, has ruined many a journal and napkin with his frantic, sporadic writing, scribbling away in shorthand with almost a manic zeal.

You never fault him for it; he breathes music, each inhale and exhale just another crescendo and decrescendo in an ever-changing, uncharted symphony.

Recently however, he's lost his footing, loses his sense of direction even in his favourite concert halls.

You often catch him falling asleep at the piano, rehearsing long into the night, the calluses on his fingertips broken and crusted with dried blood.

The room is always a mess now; spilled ink coats crumpled, scattered music sheets, wax from the candelabra has melted down and solidified on the runner, one of the chairs has been broken in what you pray was an accident.

In the passing, fleeting, yearning moments when he steps away from it all, those rare moments when you coax him to eat and drink, to bathe, to sleep-

He rambles almost incoherently about the perfect symphony- frenetically, feverishly- pleads with you to help him, to ground him, to rid him of the thrice-damned refrain.

He is haunted- nay, plagued- by the song, obsessively begins to rewrite over-and-over again, cursing himself, cursing his limitations.

It kills you to see him in such a state, a witness to the near discordant harmony of anguish and ambition.

You ache to stop him, to ensure this spectre never haunts another living soul.

But you've heard it yourself, just enough to know you can't stop him.

It took only a few, hypnotic measures for you to succumb to its spell, to this dangerous, intoxicating melody that will do anything to be heard.

Belarus

Natalya is hiding something from you, something that has her constantly looking over her shoulder, has her more guarded than ever before.

You knew from the very start that she keeps secrets, knows things that you can never know- and frankly never want to know.

She drew you in with her layers, a softness buried deep, hidden behind a sharp tongue, guarded by a sharper blade.

At first glance, there is no gentleness to be found, no weaknesses to perceive.

She is quick.

And sharp.

And lethal.

Yet you knew, as you know now, there is far more to her than meets the eye, a quiet kindness and vulnerability that can only be earned with time and patience.

She used to reveal that to you, so often in fact that you had forgotten what that brusqueness even looked like.

To see her resorting to her old habits alarms you, terrifies you, has you glancing over your own shoulders even while running your usual errands.

She sneaks out a lot more these days, slipping away into darkened alleyways, disappearing into the fog and the night.

You follow her, aching for answers only she can provide, only finding more questions with every step.

A sense of urgency and desperation creeps across your skin as you walk faster, and faster, and even faster still.

You have to know.

You have to know what secrets she's hiding, why she's hiding.

In this one instance, you can't let her go on her own, can't risk her shouldering this burden of knowledge alone.

You have to help her; you have to know the truth.

She leaves behind codes written on wrappers of her favourite biscuits, messages and warnings alluding to something she's anxious that you keep out of.

Her fears only fuel your curiosity, and it isn't long until you're breaking into her safe, pouring through half-burned file folders and unmarked floppy discs.

You'll find the truth here somewhere, just as you're sure you'll figure out where she's disappeared to for the past nine days.

You continue your search for answers- both hers and your own- and know they're following you now, just as they followed her.

This is a dangerous game, and the more you learn, the deadlier it becomes.

But she's counting on you, wherever she is.

You will not rest until you find her and- together- finally expose the truth.

England

Arthur teaches you the power of words, a lesson you learn too late.

He lures you in with a bashful smile- always such soft smiles- and the perfect words.

He weaves them with practised ease and expert care, wields them as weapons only whenever truly necessary.

He always knows exactly the right words to say to you, never once stutters or second guesses, always speaks with a soft confidence that is just as beguiling and bewitching as his smile.

He introduces you to older and older texts, pages yellowed from age, the little sunlight entering the room scarcely offering enough visibility to make out each letter, to identify the source of the musty, metallic scent mingling with the dust and ancient leather.

When realisation finally strikes its fatal blow, you nearly drop the book in your alarm, its tawny sienna script striking you violently with nausea.

You frantically rush for the door, only half-aware of the creeping ivy, of the growing mist, focused only on your flight.

You're so close to escape before he's stopping you, crafting the perfect cage with a soft voice, gently luring you back in again-

Again and again as he has always done before.

Always such pretty words, always that soft, knowing smile.

You never think to question his isolation, never think to ask why he only meets you in empty corridors or forgotten rooms, never think to learn why no one else seems aware of him.

Every doubt that does come to mind, any question that arises beyond your obsessive, frantic studying-

Everything fades from thought with just the right words, whispered oh-so-gently.

It's only when you happen across an old, nearly forgotten legend that you begin to pull apart the deception, expose the hidden layers, read between the lines, and finally comprehend the gravity of your circumstance.

Words have power, he has told you- warned you- countless times.

He has always used such pretty words, such perfect words-

Words meant to charm and bind you.

Madagascar

Sakina talks in her sleep, during those few nights when your schedules sync up.

You're used to her long, odd work hours, and have long grown accustomed to her dedication to the Lab.

But she's been... off, lately.

There's a restlessness in her tapping fingers, a sense of apprehension and tension hanging around her as she pours over old reports, haunted eyes constantly drawn back to the shore.

So little of it makes sense; you've learnt enough through your time together to vaguely understand the abstracts from the dozens of articles littering her study, but you don't understand the chaotic mess of half-finished formulas and unfamiliar symbols covering her whiteboard, nor do you see the correlation to the dozens of newspaper clippings she has taped sporadically about the room.

She's taken to reciting equations in her sleep now, constantly has nightmares about... It.

She's sleeping less-and-less, has exhausted your coffee stockpiles, repeatedly begs and warns you to stay out of the water.

You're desperate to understand what is stealing her away from you, desperate for answers, desperate to save her from whatever precipice her research has led her to.

She's so lost to her research that she scarcely notices your presence over her shoulder, never seems to notice when her desk is rearranged from your own reading.

Slowly, you are starting to understand her frantic scribbles, are starting to understand the connection between all the journals that, once, seemed to have no correlation whatsoever.

You have your suspicions, you have your doubts.

Yet you can't argue with the years of evidence, can't argue the facts right in front of you.

You desperately try to convince yourself that you're wrong, that she's wrong.

But the more you learn, the more certain you are of the truth, the more you begin to dread the very thing she's been studying all along.

tw: descriptions of blood and death

note: i forgot i had this saved on my google docs and it was a wip from around 2 months ago so i took it upon myself to finally finish it and here it is.  based on sdr2 but it doesnt spoil anything from the game and you don't need any knowledge on danganronpa whatsoever to read this

synopsis: your untimely demise hits everyone hard, but lovino suffers the most.

“A body has been discovered! After a certain amount of time has passed, the class trial will begin!”

No. This couldn't be happening. Everything up to this point had been going well. There were no murders for at least 3 days.

So why... Just why did another one have to take place? And out of all the people... Just why did it have to be you? The only person who he could proudly call a friend? The only person who could tolerate and even go as far as to be enamoured with his being.

It’s so damn unfair, Lovino came to realise the more time drawled on. He just couldn't comprehend as to why the universe was so cruel. To strip him of the only thing which brought him joy and contentment in this cursed place anymore. 

Stupid universe... When I find the bastard that killed [Name] I’ll rip their goddamn throat out...

His rage only fueled him on as he stormed away from the scene to hopefully calm down. Nothing good would come of his fury at whoever did the deed. In fact, maybe he would even ask the mastermind if he himself deliver the execution for the gruesome killing.

After a short amount of time, Monokuma appeared to hand everyone the monokuma file containing the details of the murder case.

“The victim is [First Name] [Last Name].

The body was discovered in the kitchen next to the left side cabinets.

The estimated time of death is unknown.

The only injuries the victim has abstained were directly located on the head and the victim’s right hand. 

The force of a blunt object is speculated to be the cause of their death. Furthermore, the death was positively instantaneous.“

They all read it once... then twice... and then some. But no matter how many times each one of them processed the words on the brightly lit screen, they couldn’t stomach the though that the killer was among them and that after countless promises of keeping each other safe, someone broke it.

Everyone avoided Lovino like the plague during the investigation and after his sudden but expected leave, for they knew just how much despair your death has brought him. And the last thing they needed is an unstable Lovino lashing out at everyone. No, they knew much better than that. He would come to investigate in his own time, they were sure of it.

With this, they had also came to realise the Italian wouldn't be easy to bring solace to. Not at all. With his brother, Feliciano, his dearest companion, Antonio and his beloved dearest friend, [Name] gone, he wouldn't be consolidated. He would most likely refuse to be by someone other that the deceased trio.

This isn't good..., was the only thought ringing through Ludwig's head as he inspected the head wound you had suffered, the weapon still being searched for. Although the weapon hasn’t been located yet, he could clearly see how huge the split of your head just was: it could be easily deducted that the weapon of choice must have been something rather big and heavy. 

The killer must have washed the blood off... it would be impossible to hide such a huge murder weapon... Verdammt... if only I vas more cautious of everyone’s actions this could have been avoided. Und Lovino... he wouldn't be suffering anymore than he already has to. Anyway, I should continue the examination to not miss anything. We have to find the killer.

On some level, the German understood what Lovino was going through, after all, he lost both Gilbert and Feliciano all in the same day, the case being a double murder. The only difference is that he made amends a long time ago; he understood that his loved ones wouldn't go back and that he should just come to terms with their deaths.

Lovino was the exact opposite. You had been the only person comforting him after the deaths of his brother and friend. Even then, he couldn't even fathom the thought. But now that you were gone... There was no one to keep him at bay. No one to reassure him everything would turn out okay. No one to hold him back from committing a mistake which could result in his execution.

Alfred glanced at the body in front of him nervously, as he skimmed over the letter which lured you out to the kitchen. If this keeps up, we might have another murder... I can't let that happen. The blonde took a deep breath in, his azure blue eyes scanning the surroundings once he pocketed the piece of paper. He wouldn't let the killer get off scot free.

The handwriting looks forged... I don’t recall anyone having this kind of messy writing on this island. I’ve seen what they all write like, I’m sure this was used to cover up their true identity. Tsk, they really think we won’t find out.

Just as you lay there, your open injury still covering the wooden floor in thick, magenta liquid, Arthur looked over the area around you. For some odd reason, he had noticed, the nail from your index finger had been ripped off and was laying on the ground. It just didn't add up. If you had suffered a blow to the head, why would the only other injury happen on your hand? Much less your nail?

Bloody hell, what was the killer even thinking? And why had they chosen you... Must have been targeting that bloody Italian. They easily could have chosen Lilly now that Basch is gone. And [Name] sure as hell was one strong individual. The killer must have taken them by surprise and used that to their advantage. Could they have been hiding...? But if so, just where?

“The estimated time of death is around 2 am.” Yao stated as he performed a much needed autopsy, which indirectly answered Arthur’s question.

So they hid in the dark... The only place I can think of is behind the huge cabinet... or maybe even inside it? It certainly is big enough to fit a person in. And its contents are scattered around on the counter. The killer must have emptied it and hid there before [Name] even came.

“Such a cruel death... I can’t believe one of us would do it...” Yao mumbled under his breath as he stared into your widely open, lifeless eyes. He felt a painful tug at his heartstrings, if only he had payed more attention to everyone’s actions...

The killer... I’ll find them and avenge [Name]’s death. I promise. 

“Hm, could that be blood?” Violet eyes examined the fuschia, stainless steel mixer. It was just a speck of the magenta liquid in the corner, almost perfectly blending in with the paint. It looked to be half wiped but has already dried up and clung to the equipment in desperation, as to camouflage itself. Matthew narrowed his eyes slightly, still staring at the weapon which was probably used to end your life.

Clever, so they used the mixer to ensure prying eyes wouldn’t notice the remaining blood. This would imply that they had been in a hurry though, and knew they wouldn’t have much time to clean the scene of murder up... Interesting case, I just wish it wasn’t [Name] who was the victim...

With hasty yet calculative footsteps, Matthew made his way over to the sink before swiftly opening up the cabinet to inspect the bin. Without much struggle, he emptied the contents out and scanned them with as much precision as he could muster. That was until his eyes landed on the wipes stacked inside of the lime green tissue packet. One of them just barely stuck out. In contrast to the grassy colour of the plastic, it was stained with a deep roseate.

Hm... So they put the used wipes into the packet and hid it in the deepest part of the bin to hide the evidence. Whoever this killer is... they’re smart and knew exactly what they were doing. I wonder how long it took them to plan this.

“Find something?” Arthur came up behind the caramel haired Canadian with a glint of interest in his emerald green eyes.

“Yeah, just this pack of used up wipes.” Matthew looked behind him and showed off the clue he had just found.

“Ah... so I take it you’ve come to the conclusion too...” Arthur mumbled underneath his breath.

“You’ve seen the mixer?” Matthew’s voice came out meeker than he would like it to.

“Yeah, I have.” The Brit wasted no time confirming the inquiry before bidding his companion a farewell: he was yet to figure out why your fingernail was off after all. 

Before he could think, one of his greatest banes of existence, Francis, sauntered up to him with a dangerous slit in his eyes.

“I think I know who did this horrible deed.” It was all it took for the Brit’s attention to be directed onto the Frenchman. 

“Do you now? Are you sure? Is there evidence?” Arthur cocked his head to the side as to confirm.

“Oui. I’ve realised Natalya has been keeping quiet and after following her for a little while, I’ve noticed something interesting... Her and Ivan were speaking in those quiet voices but I managed to hear her say something about [Name].” Francis explained thoroughly. 

“That’s not bloody helping...” The Brit closed his eyes in slight irritation.

“Ah, ah, ah! I’m not done yet! I I then came up to the two of them and asked for alibis. They claimed to be around each other the whole night, in Ivan’s cottage but the lies were obvious. I’ve been around enough people to know their intentions. It’s either Ivan or Natalya.” His words shocked Arthur to the core. For once, Francis has proven to be useful. He made a mental note to not forget the testimony and thanked the blonde before quickly walking off.

The alibi was obviously flawed, even Feliciano could come up with something smarter. I should investigate the body now and tell everyone else what I heard. This should make them realise and doubt Natalya and Ivan. Now we just have to find out which one of them did it.

“That bloody frog has a point. We all have alibis for last night except those two... We just need evidence. That’s all.” Voice coming out confident, Arthur’s eyes scanned every nook and cranny of the kitchen before finally going into action.

“I wish big brother was still here... If only he hadn’t saved me that day, he would have been able to help solve this case...” Lilly’s tears soaked into her dress sleeves as she eyed your body from the corner. 

“Hey now, it’s okay Lilly. We can solve this together okay? We will catch the blackened and serve them some justice!” Elizabeta’s voice didn’t waver in the slightest as she exclaimed in hopes of cheering Lilly up.

“Okay-” Lilly mumbled but before she could continue, a scream escaped her lips as she felt the ground beneath her collapse, causing everyone’s panicked stares to train onto her.

Just as she was about to land on her back, Elizabeta grabbed and pulled her up by the arms, in time prevent another injury. 

“W-What the hell?” Ludwig stood up in a matter of seconds and quickly made his way over to where the two girls were standing.

“That’s... a faulty plank.” Matthew commented as he too, came over to inspect the scene.

“It’s not properly secured. But why that spot in particular? The rest of the floorboards seem to be okay.” Alfred voiced his thoughts out to the group as he crouched down and lifted the wooden plank up.

“Wait... what is that white thing in the corner?” Ludwig questioned, staring at the magenta stained, clearly old but recently used rag.

“It’s... It’s a rag... with blood stains... Could they be.. [Name]’s?” The American male looked around with confusion brimming in his sea blue eyes.

“Most likely...” Matthew nodded his head.

Either [Name] attacked the culprit back and caused them to bleed or the murderer themselves tried to clean something else up. We already distinguished that they used wipes to clean the murder weapon so this must be the latter...

[ “Blood stained rag” has been added to the Truth Bullets]

Alfred thought over the possible scenarios of what happened in his head.

“Well Lilly... looks like we helped out after all.” Elizabeta gave the girl a somewhat melancholy smile as she tried to make light of the horrible situation.

“Hey, can you move this carpet to the right so we can fish this thing out?” Alfred asked in a hurried manner, eager to find more clues.

“Sure.” Matthew responded before dragging the burgundy, rough looking tapestry as instructed. However, he couldn’t have been prepared to find the fuschia liquid footprint on the ground.

“It seems the killer isn’t intelligent after all... Recklessly leaving a major clue like that.” Ludwig piped up from beside the Canadian.

“We should take everyone’s footprints.” Yao came over due to the commotion as he overheard the claims.

“Good idea. That way, we can determine who was at the crime scene.” An inaudible sigh escaped the German’s lips.

“I'll date the blood to see if it matches [Name]'s estimated time of death.” Black hair draped over his shoulder, Yao glanced at your idle body before brining his attention back to the footprints.

Slightly touching it with a q-tip, the Chinese male inspected the thick consistency and the colour. The liquid’s outline was by now a dark magenta and some spots have gone darker than others.

“I’d say it’s been here for at least 8 hours...” Yao gave his prediction as he looked up to meet Ludwig’s gaze. 

“So around 2:00 am?” Alfred piped up from next to him. The ebony haired male nodded at the question.

“The time of death for [Name] was also estimated to be 2:00 am so these two would definitely be connected.” Yao affirmed as he stood up and dusted his knees off.

The killer must really not be as smart as we thought. If we get the footprints, this trial will be a breeze. Unless it’s a set trap... that wouldn’t be good. But Matthew has already stated before that the culprit was in a hurry with the way they left things. Such a sloppy job... Although if it wasn’t for Lilly’s fall, we would never have discovered these clues and probably wouldn’t check under the floorboards or carpet. Such a coincidence saving us must mean something. Perhaps it’s still Lovino’s good luck helping us out? Who knows.

Yao’s thoughts seemed to only drive him toward hope. He would make sure your death wasn’t in vain. That’s for sure.

“Should we collect the footprints?” Matthew slid his glassed up his bridge nose with his index finger as he glanced at Alfred.

“Yeah, the sooner we get them the better. For all we know, Monokuma could announce the end of the investigation very soon to throw us off like the last time. Let’s go.” Alfred responded, crafting his words carefully as to not mess up the speech. He couldn’t let the same mistake happen like the last time, where he lost favour and was nearly blackened when he uttered the sentence wrong.

Enough thinking about that... We should start with Natalya and Ivan, we haven’t seen them for a while. And then Lovino... I really don’t wish to doubt him but with the way things are, we have to doubt everyone in order to trust them.

With a final gulp of anxiousness, Alfred and Matthew exited the kitchen to pursue the two siblings. If they couldn’t get the footprints directly... they’d have to use other means, as they agreed.

“Mon dieu... This is a terrible fate for such a young person.” Francis took a look at your lifeless, silent corpse. He prodded over the countless possibilities of what could have happened the night you were murdered. Despite seeing your body for the upteenth time, he still couldn’t help but feel a shock run through his entire body. The sigh alone just made him want to collapse, but he couldn’t luck helpless and useless in front of his companions. He had vowed to himself he would be useful.

“I just know it was Natalya... zhat filthy degenerate who dared lay a hand on sweet, innocent [Y/n]...” Francis inhaled some air in to calm his nerves, but reality never disappeared and you were still gone.

Well... It's all fine! After all, she's not escaping this one.

Lovino still couldn’t come to terms with your death. He didn’t want to admit it, but he had a sneaking suspicion something would happen to you too, after all, it already happened to Antonio and Feliciano. Quite ironic considering he was the “Ultimate lucky student”. By this point, he was sure he should be deemed ‘unlucky’. 

“So damn unfair... this despair... aha.... ahaha.... ahhahaha!” Lovino’s uncontrolled laughter soon erupted as he clutched his head in his hands with a tight grip.

"That all you have?! That all the despair you can cause?! Pathetic!” His eye twitched as a wretched grin etched itself onto his face, the muscles pulling up so tight that it physically hurt. With each attempt to stop himself from going any further, his mind slipped into a frenzied state, bringing him further away from rationality.

D-damn! Snap out of it Lovino you bastard!

The madness consumed him whole as the reality of the situation began seeping in. He wished he didn’t have to face it, but life seemed to have different plans for him.

Chaotic smile still present, the only new addition to Lovino’s demeanour were the fresh, salty, hot to the touch tears that streaked down his cheeks: they reflected the direct sunlight hitting his face as he tried to cancel out the voices in his mind.

‘You’re useless.’ 

‘Are you only good for moping around?’

‘You’re not gonna help investigate? Stupid.’

‘Idiot, do something.’

'Move your lazy ass and avenge [Name]!’

He had enough. He couldn’t stand it. He had to do something.

With tentative steps, he began to advance toward the sea. Maybe if the fresh liquid entered his lungs he could finally wake up from this nightmare and see everyone be fine, all in uniforms and heading to their designated classes.

“Lovino.” His breath hitched at the mention of his name. Surprised by the presence of somebody, he whipped his head around to meet those condemning emerald green eyes.

“What are you doing? You’re not planning on swimming at this time right? Unless you're the blackened and taking some bloody relaxation trip as we're all exceeding our limits trying to solve this case.” Arthur narrowed his eyes slightly as Lovino felt the adrenaline rush through his veins.

“Ce diavolo? You damn tea bastard, to think you’d accuse me of killing [Name]...” Lovino growled dangerously, although it didn’t seem to faze Arthur in the slightest. 

“As I suspected. Good. You should start investigating so you know what’s going on.” Arthur quickly explained with a small nod before giving out a tired sigh.

“Huh-” Before Lovino could finish, the Brit has already begun to walk away. He could only be grateful the male snapped him out of his crazed daze. 

That’s right. He had an investigation to do. He couldn’t afford to waste anymore time than he already did. Maybe after the trial he could pity himself again, but not right now.

Elizabeta stared at the empty alcohol bottle that rest in her hand, the label mentioning contents which make the liquid up. I wonder what this vas used for... Probably cleaning wounds. It seems to be the medicinal purpose kind. Was zhe culprit hurt and had to clean their wounds? Or was this used even before the killing occurred?

“We have everyone’s prints.” Matthew entered the kitchen alongside Alfred, catching everyone’s attention. 

“Great. We can compare them to the one which was under the carpet!” Yao exclaimed, both relief and dreadful anticipation painted all over his face. 

Not before long, it was clear just who the footprints belonged to. No one wanted to believe that they perfectly matched Natalya’s but it was clear as day. They must be. 

“They’re... identical.” Elizabeta gasped as she eyed the paper.

“What if this is a trap?” Ludwig tried to puzzle everything out in his mind.

"There is a chance Natalya's getting framed..." Matthew nodded his head at the German.

“We’ll see at the class trial.” Arthur sighed out.

Lovino made his way around, questioning everyone on alibis right after he had finished examined the pieces of evidence. 

He had managed to garner reliable and vital pieces of information to help solve this case. There was only one thought bugging him though, and it still didn’t add up.

Why the hell would the killer forge a note like that? [Name] would have known not to fall for that kind of trick. And it’s such a damn simple letter too. Nothing specific or anything. It must have been written after the killing. I just know it. But how do I prove it...?

Lovino stared at the floor in deep thought.

“I’d hate to cut this lovely outing between killmates short but the time has come for the class trial to unleash its full hostility potential upon all your young minds! Will you be executed or execute? Refute the statement or make the wrong assumption? Die crying or survive smiling? Phuhuhu... the thrill makes me want to combust~ Guess that can wait for after the blackened gets revealed ( ^ ^ )”

This god damn bastard better get on with this or else I’ll rip him to shreds myself... 

“So... as always, meet up at the Monokuma Rock! Once you’re there, please proceed to the underground by taking the elevator located at the secret entrance. Phuhu~! I’ll see you ve~ry soon!”

A collective glance was all it took to get them moving.

Yandere Belarus.

🔪Natalya is one of the more unstable and unpredictable yanderes. It will take her some time to realize that she has actually fallen for someone, and that she would love nothing more then to have their undivided attention. She will soon start to feel this weird pressure around her chest when she sees her s/o happily chatting with other people. She hates them, she hates anyone who steals s/o's attention. Natalya is the only one who can see s/o smile...

🔪Major stalker. She follows her lobe everywhere, and most of the time she won't even bother with trying to hide herself. She wants her s/o, and anyone else near, to know that they are off limits. She will have this disturbingly large grin on her face when she follows her s/o, and she will openly threaten anyone who dares to flirt with her s/o.

🔪This woman is not afraid of getting her hands bloody for the sake of her love. If anything, she takes pride in the fact that she is more then capable of protecting her s/o from any and all dangers of the world! Doesn't that sound amazing?! Natalya can offer her s/o almost anything they want!

🔪She dreams of getting married to her beloved. She has already pictured the perfect wedding in her mind. It would be in the summer, and the wedding would be in a secluded forest. The sky wolud be perfectly clear, the flowers would bloom around them, and Natalya's family would be all teary eyed and overfilled with joy. The best part though, would be s/o. She could just see them walking down the isle, almost running to be in Natalya's embrace. How dreamy is that~?

🔪She also really wants her s/o to get along well with her older siblings. Natalya does love them, and she does want their approval in a way. If things go smoothly, Natalya is going to be over the moon. She is finally going to have the family she so desperately wants!

🔪Natalya does get a kick out of scaring her s/o sometimes. Her favorite thing is to take her s/o to an allegedly "haunted house", and they could just explore the place. Now that's an amazing date! Also, bonus points if s/o gets frightening easily. Nothing brings more joy to Natalya then to see her s/o just cloning on to her. She is a huge cuddler, even if she doesn't look like it. She isn't really touchy feely per say, but she won't complain if her s/o tries to hold her hand in public. Sure she might frown, but don't be discouraged. That was, Natalya is sure that s/o only has eyes for her.

🔪If she feels threatened, Natalya will lock her s/o up. They will most likely be in a small shack deep in the woods, and this is the only place where Natalya feels comfortable of letting her s/o roam around a little bit. All they have to do is behave and listen to her every order. She also stylized it to s/o's taste and preferences so that they could feel more comfortable.

🔪 Poor s/o will definitely have some scars thanks to Natalya. She will most likely carve her name or initials on to their back, and some other scars that Natalya inflicted on them because they behaved out of line. Natalya does not tolerate any kind of disobedience, and she will make this crystal clear.

Affection: How do they show their love and affection? How intense would it get?

She needs to be by your side all the time. The moment Belarus is away from you she starts to feel empty and hollow. Which leads to her keeping you by her side all of the time. 

For normal work days you'll be allowed to come with her into her office; assuming she isn't working from home. None of her officials or higher ups ask any questions. She seems to get more work done with you by her side and will often just say you're her helper. You are helping in a way, although that way is mostly just you sitting with her and spending the day relaxing in a chair in the corner of the room.

For the world meetings it's a bit more tricky. It's not impossible for someone to be snuck in, honestly it's not even that hard if it's a country doing it. The issue is being caught by someone who might make a big deal out of it. So anyone like Alfred is to be avoided.

Russia and Ukraine help her sneak you into the building and leave you alone in her office. (I imagine the world meeting lasts a few days on average and they have offices there to continue working in private). No one knows you're there, and if they do, no one says anything. 

Blood: How messy are they willing to get when it comes to their darling?

Belarus is more than capable of killing someone for you. It isn't a matter of being able to, it's how you respond to it. If someone touches you or threatens to hair you she will absolutely break bones. If you start screaming and yelling for her to stop she will, until you're no longer around.

If there isn't any major reaction Natalia will finish the job right there. If that isn't an option she will wait, or have someone else do it for her. 

Cruelty: How would they treat their darling once abducted? Would they mock them?

After you're abducted you are treated more like a spouse than before. She expects you to eat dinner with her and to help her cook and clean. The two of you will now sleep in the same bed. Wearing matching pajamas because she thinks it's cute. From the outside the two of you will appear as a happy married couple.

Darling: Aside from abduction, would they do anything against their darling’s will?

Love. She is a needy yandere who feels like she can't exist without you. Even if you don't want it she will hold and love you. If you're too aggressive you will be tied up and bound so that she may hold you.

One of her favorite things to do is leave marks on you. Putting on lipstick and leaving a visible trail of kisses is a more tame way of doing it. Maybe when at a world meeting she'll be easier on you, just in case someone else catches a glance. 

The more extreme version is leaving bloodied marks left on you from her teeth or her fingernails. It takes a few days to heal. In the meantime you have a few days' reminder of how much she loves you.

The middle ground is hickies. Lots and lots of hickies. Both in visible and invisible places.

Exposed: How much of their heart do they bare to their darling? How vulnerable are they when it comes to their darling?

Extremely. You are one of Natalie's weaknesses. She genuinely believes that you care about her. No matter what words leave your mouth, threats and promises of eternal hatred and rage, are dismissed as the temper of an angry lover.

For her love, her life, the second half of her soul, to be lost? Or for the illusion to somehow shatter? She would never make it out in one piece.

Fight: How would they feel if their darling fought back?

She has two reactions and it depends on the mood you catch her in.

The first one is uncaring. If you love her deep down then what does shallow words mean to her? Your rants will fall on deaf ears as she tells you that it must suck to think that, now be quiet and help her finish with the dishes so you two can watch a movie.

The other is what happens when you press one of her buttons. Maybe it was on purpose, or maybe you just stumbled onto one of her other weaknesses. Her reaction will be full of emotions. She will rush over to you, grab you by the shoulders and shake you violently. Demanding that you take those words back. You have no right to speak them.

Game: Is this a game to them? How much would they enjoy watching their darling try to escape?

The only game here is Uno. Belarus does truly love you. Even if her way of showing it is a bit odd, she could never wish any true harm onto you.

She doesn't like seeing you leave either. Wherever you go she will be right by your side.

Hell: What would be their darling’s worst experience with them?

Probably one of her violent outbursts. By nature Natalia is very brash and has some anger management issues with other people. It wouldn't be hard for you to make a mistake and touch on the tough subject of her siblings. 

A comment about Ukraine and her body, or calling Ivan creepy and insulting him will result in a subscription to several weeks of isolation and near torture until you apologize and go through 'behavioral classes'. These consist of her sitting you down to teach you the correct way to address both of her siblings. She loves them just as much as you in some ways.

Ideals: What kind of future do they have in mind for/with their darling?

Marriage. A big wedding, a small wedding, or just inviting her two siblings to join. Any of those options are OK with her as long as you're happy and play the role of a perfect spouse on the happiest day of their life. (Natalia will cry at the altar. There is no doubt about this.)

Jealousy: Do they get jealous? Do they lash out or find a way to cope?

Don't look at anyone else. She is extremely jealous and wants you to only think about her. She only thinks about you so why can't you only think about her? You're  not being fair.

If your eyes linger for too long she will pull on your arm. Reminding you with a look exactly what she thinks of your actions. Once you get home she will list off point by point everything you did wrong and how to make up for it.

If this goes too far, more extreme measures will be taken. Like a blindfold for when you go outside. Don't like it? Stop looking at other people then! Simple solution.

Kisses: How do they act around or with their darling?

Like a standoffish sweetheart. Go up and give her a hug! Or a kiss! She rarely says what she wants until it gets to the point she would rather just get up and do it herself.

Her biggest wish is for you to feel the same way about her as she does you.

Love letters: How would they go about courting or approaching their darling?

When you first meet she will follow you home. It's like a dream come true. Someone who appears to be perfect for her reveals someone who really does seem like the most amazing match. Once Belarus knows where you live she will take something from you. Like a wallet.

She will then approach you with the item and claim that you dropped it. No need to thank her (but please do anyways), just let her treat you to some coffee. If you're so tired you don't notice losing your wallet what else might happen?

She doesn't talk. Instead she just sits there and looks out the window. Any idea she's bored or hates being here is thrown away when she tells you she loved this little coffee date. It wasn't a date as far as you knew, but that's ok. At the end she insists the two of you exchange letters.

Any words asking how you will do that when you don't even know her address aren't answered. She quickly leaves without saying more than twenty words.

The women in the letters are different from the one at the cafè. The matters are sweet and endearing. Showing someone who isn't afraid to talk and be open about how she feels.

Ukraine and Russia are helping her with the letters. Ukraine takes out everything about Kidnapping you if you don't return her feelings and makes it sound… better! Ivan is there as moral support. Happy to see his siblings working together and making sure she doesn't kidnap you too early. Can't have you getting scared too early in the relationship.

Which it is. She considers the two of you dating at this point. Even if you don't know it she will hold you to this idea. So no fooling around with somebody else. The resulting conflict won't be pretty.

Mask: Are their true colors drastically different from the way they act around everyone else?

Yes. She is softer and kinder with you if you act like a good partner. She does love you, and everyone around her can see that. Her siblings were quick to catch onto her acting differently and they for one love the two of you being together. Because it makes her happier and she's softer when she's with you.

Not that the rose doesn't still have thorns.

Naughty: How would they punish their darling?

Isolation is her go to and most common. Locking you in a room alone before she leaves for work and keeping you in there all day. She'll give you a limited amount of food and water. Just enough to keep you alive. You'll be let out when she comes home to shower, use the restroom, and sleep in your shared bed. During the morning you get one more chance to use the restroom and you spend the rest of the day locked away.

This process can last for weeks with only a few breaks on Natalie's days off. She likes to spend her spare time with you, and a darker part of her hopes that being the only good thing in your life will make you warmer towards her.

Oppression: How many rights would they take away from their darling?

Depends on how you act. You can freely leave the house as long as you tell her beforehand, make a plan of where/when, stick to the plan, keep a tracker on you, and regularly call and text.

If you act out there will be less and less chances for you to do anything. Natalia will gladly tie you to a chair and force feed you if she has too.

Patience: How patient are they with their darling?

You get three chances. First chance she warns you, second chance she reprimands you, and the third time she gives a small reminder of what will happen if you do it another time.

There are no more chances. After that you get two chances. One reminder and then punishment.

Quit: If their darling dies, leaves, or successfully escapes, would they ever be able to move on?

No.

If you're dead she will never leave the denial stage. Belarus knows a bit of magic and will never stop believing that she can bring you back. Her family will help in whatever ways they can. Meaning Ukraine cooks and keeps everything in order while Russia searches for a proper spell.

If you leave or escape? Oh this time her siblings can do a lot more. Being caught by Ukraine isn't as bad as it could have been. Not that she's likely to find you over Ivan. If Irunya finds you first she'll have a conversation with you.

More so she'll talk at you. You'd be tbound and gagged. Threats are given in the form of reminders. Things can be so much worse for you. Her dear sister is providing you a comfortable life after all! You could be dead. You could have been caught by the likes of Ivan. She'd give so many reminders of how bad this situation could have been for you that you'd feel thankful by the end of it.

After you're thoroughly scared by what could, and still can, happen to you she just let's you go. If you don't return to Belarus she'll hand you over to Ivan.

To keep his own sister happy (and off of his neck) Ivan would gladly mutilate you. Cutting off both legs would mean you can't escape wouldn't it? He'd talk to Belarus before doing anything. He wouldn't mind not checking with her though. Depending on how badly you acted before being caught.

Regret: Would they ever feel guilty about abducting their darling? Would they ever let their darling go?

No and no. To Natalia this is the way it was always meant to be. She doesn't care if you don't like it. You have to. There isn't a choice here.

Stigma: What brought about this side of them (childhood, curiosity, etc)?

I would say it's just her. She can't say why she needs you but she just does. When you're away it feels like her own self is gone. It becomes cold and lonely again and nothing else feels that aching void until you come back.

Tears: How do they feel about seeing their darling scream, cry, and/or isolate themselves?

She sees it as a temper tantrum. You don't like her? Too bad! Get over yourself and help make dinner. At least set up the table for the both of you.

No matter what it takes she'll do anything to get you to behave again. Screaming and yelling? Gag! Starving yourself? Have fun being force fed! Don't like it change how you act.

Unique: Would they do anything different from the classic yandere?

You'd be able to have a seemingly normal life. Yeah it's a bit toxic and she won't let you leave; but if you don't try to leave and act right you can be happy. She would love to travel with you, and she takes you everywhere with her so you do get out a lot. It's just a matter of if you can out up with her other tendencies.

Vice: What weakness can their darling exploit in order to escape?

Once you play along for long enough she lets her guard down. At a certain point she so genuinely believes that you love her too she doesn't even question if you'll try to leave. You're her weakness after all.

If you do escape this way though, she will never have the same trust in you again. Even if things go back to being the same she will always be watching her back for betrayal.

Wit’s end: Would they ever hurt their darling?

Yes. Both to show love and as a form of punishment.

Xoanon: How much would they revere or worship their darling? To what length would they go to win their darling over?

She wants you to love her, but she's also not easy to manipulate. It takes time to get to a spot where the two of you are truly domestic, but once there it's easy for her to spend the night rambling to you about how much she loves you. How she can't live without you. Want to be worshiped? Ask her to. At that point she'll do it if it makes her other half happy.

Yearn: How long do they pine after their darling before they snap?

You get a few days. Once she thinks you're good for her she's going to make a spot in her house.

Very few people make her feel that way and you can't leave once she gets to you.

Zenith: Would they ever break their darling?

If you struggle too much? Sure. If you somehow get away from her? Of course. It's what needs to be done to ensure that the two of you can be in a happy relationship after all.

Summery‧˚｡ﾟ･° ｡✎ These are just some quick pov’s I wrote for these two hetalia girls because they really don’t get enough love. 

Misc‧˚｡ﾟ･° ｡✎ Kidnapping, forced marriage, you’re tied down for both of these so you can’t escape, you (the reader) had no idea about the two girls yandere tendencies before waking up kidnapped, I used their human names only.

Belarus:

“I don’t understand.” Were the only words I could think to say. None of this made sense. Every time I started to wrap my head around what was going on something else was thrown at me.

“What are you unable to understand? I thought I was making myself quite clear.” Natalia stared down at me. Never moving her eyes away from mine. When I first met her the pressure of her eyes were unnerving, but after a while I grew to find the calming. She was my friend. It was difficult to find someone you cared about scary.

I found myself sinking back into my chair against the heavy stare of hers. Was she always like this? Did I delude myself into thinking she was something other than what I first saw in her, or was this just a different, even darker side?

Silence sank into every corner of the room. Distant sounds of traffic and city life passed by outside. The noise was too far away to give me any hope of a possible escape. Rope tied me to my chair. If I wanted to leave I'd have to get out of my restraints first. Then I would have to get past Natalia.

Was it possible to get her to leave the room? Even if it was just for a few minutes. I might have the chance to get away. Everything else could be figured out after that. I just needed an opening. No matter how small it was I could make it out of this. For now I would play along. It would give me the best chance of getting out.

“What do you mean by a wedding?” Natalia tilted her head to the side. 

“How do I make this simpler for you…” She held a hand up to her face. Pinching the bridge of her nose she considered her words carefully. “I want you. To be with you forever. An easy way to make sure you’re always by my side and to show you how much I care for you is to marry. Can you understand that?”

I nodded. “I can understand that, but is tying me to a chair necessary for this process?”

Natalia took a step forward. She was only an arms away from me now. I could smell the perfume she normally wore from this distance. It was something sweet and floral. Laced with hints of honey. “I refuse to let you run away from me. We’re meant to be together forever.” She put a hand on the back of the chair and leaned over me. Strands of her hair fell down around my face.

“One day you will love me back.”

“I do love you Natalia.” Maybe it was the truth. Maybe I was just trying to escape. Either way the words left my mouth before I could even think about it. It couldn't have been a complete lie. You don't spend weeks with someone only to not care for them in some capacity. Kidnapping changed my feelings a bit. They didn't erase them.

 Several seconds passed and she stood as still as a statue. It was impossible to tell what was going on inside of her mind. Excruciating moments passed with me questioning every word that had left my mouth.

“No. You don't love me the same way I love you. If I left you, you’d find a way to continue living. You could find someone else to bring you comfort. I could not live without you. If you were to leave my life I would never feel the same comfort I do now. That is why I must keep you here. I can not allow you to slip through my fingers.” It was rare that she let the veneer of the stoic and hard press woman drop. Pain and fear laced her voice. Tears threatened the corners of her eyes.

“Without you I am nothing.” With that she leaned away. I tried to think of something to say. Anything to provide a small bit of comfort or solace. The chance was taken from me. As soon as the sadness had appeared it left. Leaving nothing but a stoic look on her face.

“We are going to get married. I will ask you one more time; what do you want to wear?

Ukraine:

“Are you being serious?”

“Of course I am! Why would I make such a cruel joke to you dear?” She warped the measuring tape around my torso once more. Humming under her breath as she counted and wrote down my measurements. “Just give me a few more minutes to write all of this down and I will have it sent off to the tailor. I can’t wait to see the finished product. I just know you’ll make it look wonderful on you.”

This had to be some sort of cruel joke. It was impossible that my sweet Irunya had become so cruel. Even if she didn't mean to be malicious, surely she had to see that this was too far. I was invited over for a home cooked meal and a ‘big announcement’. Having my feet tied down to the floor was a bit much. Nothing in her demeanor had changed. She was still acting as loving and caring as she had the day before. It was just the situation that had changed. Something had gone wrong.

“Stop please! I don't want to be dressed up for any wedding. I don't want this Irunya please!” My loving partner clamped a hand over my mouth. She was still writing down numbers on a scrap piece of paper with the other hand. Once done she put the pen down and brought her hand up to my face. Cupping my cheek and running her thumb along freshly fallen tears. Wiping them away.

“My sweet lamb… This may take you a long time to accept; and that is ok. I do not blame you for feeling a bit overwhelmed. I’m nervous too, ok? I promise you that everything is alright. When you calm down we can remove the chains from you and return to normal alright?” She was as sweet as she always was when she spoke. Her honey covered words that always used to comfort me only sent trails of fear down my spine.

It was impossible. I couldn't remember any signs of this hiding behind the delightful smile days prior. Was this always there and I just missed it? She took a step away from me. Uncovering my mouth. I could have spoken. The option was there. No words came to me though.

“So I was thinking. The photos I showed you earlier. I love the design but I'm not so sure about the fabric. What do you think?”

“How long before I accept this? Accept what Irunya?” panic set in as the full force of the situation hit me in the chest. I was getting married. I was going to be married to someone. For the rest of my life? When? Did I have a week, a day? Was there going to be a ceremony or were we just going to sign a certificate and call it at that.

I found myself struggling against the chains holding me in place. There was no rhythm or reason behind the movements. Just panicked tugs and pulls. It got me nowhere, but I had to do something. I couldn't just stand still anymore.

“You already know what I mean darling. We're going to be married, and there's only one reason for that.” she turned back around. She met my eyes for the first time since I walked into her house. That nervous energy around her when I first walked in hadn't lifted even as she chained my feet down. “I love you; and one day you’re going to love me back.”

I started to cry again. I couldn't help it. This was all too quick. I didn't have nearly enough answers to my questions and the answers I was getting just sent me deeper into a pool of despair. Irunya walked back to me. She embraced me in a hug and held me there for a few seconds.

“Please don't cry my love. We're going to be together forever now.”
