i have just finished watching happiness (2021 kdrama) and it’s actually the best thing i have ever watched
are characters from historical fiction {like the crown, tudors, doctor who's charles dickens etc} allowed?
No, since they are based on real people.
she was up for five mins and now shes down again :((
Hey! I love your art a lot, very good stuff!
With that being said, I was looking at Sun and Moon stuff of Temu (out of curiosity not to buy). And saw your Eclipse in a Dorito bag drawing being sold as a sticker.
Thought I should bring it to your attention.
Thank you!
Thank you for reaching out, I've seen it floating around a bit, even being sold on eBay as well. My sister and I have tried to contact the companies but were met with lackluster responses.
Unfortunately I'm not sure all I can do, especially since there are so many duplicate shops, I feel bad for the other artists who have been stolen as well.
i do not like m*tt r*aub but jesus do i want his shirts
This actually happened a few weeks ago but I thought I might as well share this experience.
So I was sitting at my desk watching yj and my roommate looked over and asked what I was watching and why there was a girl wearing a hijab on my screen because she had rarely seen me watching anything with a Muslim character in it let alone a cartoon. For reference my roommate is an international student (like myself, we are both in America now) from Afghanistan and a devote Muslim who has been teaching me about her culture. (Omg it’s beautiful and eye opening).
I then go on to explain the basic premise of yj and how Halo is a new character this season who is a super hero and has amazing powers and just a really good person and character. She is then flipping bouncing off the walls with excitement and proudly saying how amazed she is that they have a Muslim superhero, who is a girl, wearing a hijab (something she, herself, struggles with doing in america) on an America made cartoon. I then go to explain how the character keeps getting killed off but brought back to life just to see how she feels about that, because a lot of the fans of the show don’t like it.
She said and I quote “so what, I would have dreamed to have seen someone like her on my television as a child. She dies, so what, she keeps coming back just as strong and unashamed of her religion and beliefs, no one had ever shown me this, let alone told me that she could be a superhero and not a villain, like my religion is often made out to be”.
Just wanted to put this here for you all to think about before you go bashing on Halo and what the writers do.
I didn't know anything about what Bobby Ryan was going through, and I saw that he had a hatty the other night after coming back, but I just assumed it was him coming back from injury... And it was, but not the kind of injury that anyone used to talk about in most sports, let alone Hockey.
I'm not really a Sens fan, and I don't really know anything about Ryan, but BIG CONGRATS to him, and I just wanted to acknowledge and thank him for doing what was right for him, and for the future of hockey mental health!
Congrats Bobby, and welcome back!
